Chapter 9 - Caught

"So tell me more about Peter, sige naa" Kay asked tugging my arm. She's so interested with Peter, there is nothing to know about him though. "For the fourth time my answer is just the same" I said groaning she rolled her eyes at me and walks away stomping her feet.

"Magaling ba siya sa kama?" she asked, smiling at me. That kind of smile that could ruin my mood.

"Kay?! Go back to work!" I yelled

"Why can't you just answer my question besides, it's just the two of us. C'mon K!" one more question and I will slap this girl so hard ang kulit kasi!

"I-Sleep-On-My-Bed-Alone" I said trying to emphasize every word.

"Aww, that's vain." she pouted and patted my head like a dog. "Next time you should sleep with him" I shoved her hand and pinched her cheek

"Trabaho muna Rika ha?" I raised my eyebrows and squeezed her ear.

"I know I know, call me Kay instead" I chuckled I know she doesn't like it when someone calls her Rika. No matter how annoying Kay is, I still love this girl.

It's been 12 hours since that suprise party of Chris, I can't believe it, bingi pala siya. It was my fault naman kasi I said Chris, but it comes out more like a whisper kaya siguro akala niya Yes. But I regret it. I couldv'e enjoy my life without him, I mean we can be friends.. best of friends but no I don't love him I don't like him either. What should I do now? I'm a mess, a total mess. Kanina he asked for a kiss infront of his family and friends but unfortunately he kissed me unexpectedly I pulled away instantly and smiled. I played with my fingers and kept my eyes averted, avoiding Chris' gaze. I had kept myself distracted thinking about Chris, focus Karylle focus.

"Deep thoughts my dear?" Kay cleared her throat.

"I-uh-um" I trailed

"Girl, I will leave you with your fantasies. I know you're making  scenarios in your head about Peter. Okay bye my shift is over" I checked my watch it's 9:32 PM. Sasabay nalang ako sakanya.

"I am not, where are you going?"

"Home" she fixed herself and applied some make up.

"I'll go with you" I fixed myself too, I and put off my toque and my jacket. I stared at Kay, and seems like she saw a ghost behind me so I turned around. Ughhh, not again.

"Hi baby" when he sees me, he lighten up, he pulls me into a tight hug, embracing my body with his arms.

Looking over Chris' shoulder, Kay is watching us, when we made eye contact, she laugh silently at me my eyes screaming for help. Ugh Kaycia, I will kill you after this.

I pulled from his tight hug, that I couldn't breathe.

"Let me drive you home, so you're safe" he grabbed my wrist so tight, I winced.

"Wait, I'll go with her" I said stepping back.

"No, you are coming with me" He spoke through his clenching teeth, granning my wrist. Fear stuck through me, all I could do now is nod. "Good" I waved at Kay, and I gathered my belongings and stormed out of the kitchen.

"Mrs. Olive, we gotta go" Chris' smiled sweetly at her.

"Oh take good care of Karylle"

"I will"

We finally arrived at my condo, after that awkward ride with him inside his car. Silence consumed us for the whole time, galit ba siya sa akin? I sent Kay a quick text saying I'm home.
