The Massacre of Seoul

prologue

Jungkook sat bored at his desk in the bullpen. The tapping of his pen against the wood was the only thing keeping him sane. He whispered the number of times he seen someone glance at him under his breath, waiting until one brave soul asked him to stop. One man, Kim Yugyeom, stared at him longer than the rest.

Everyone around him was irked by the noise the youngest detective made but said nothing. He was infamous for his temper, rumors were said to everyone when they stepped within 20 feet of him, warning them to watch what they say, as he was a ticking time bomb. They praised Yugyeom—in their heads of course—for being able to look at him for longer than a second and prayed he would make him stop; though they would hate to lose another member to the young detective's temper, the sound annoyed everyone to no end.

Yugyeom had had enough. He stood from his chair letting it bounce back towards his desk after hitting off another mans. He stalked towards Jungkook, annoyance and determination in his eyes. His eyes met Jungkook's as he got closer to his desk. An evil smirk overtook the younger's features as he watched the other come towards him.

'He finally snapped, about time.' He thought as Yugyeom stopped in front of his desk.

"Can I help you?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at him.

"Yeah, you can stop tapping your fucking pen, that would help me a lot." Jungkook's smirk widened as he watched Yugyeom's fists and jaw clench.

"And why should I do that?" He raised his eyebrow a bit higher, making Yugyeom slam his fists on his desk.

"Because I fucking said so. Now respect your elders and stop." It was Yugyeom's turn to smirk as he watched shock flash in Jungkook's eyes.

Jungkook's smirk and his lifted eyebrow dropped off his face. He stood slowly from his chair and walked around his desk to Yugyeom. Said man's gaze faltered as Jungkook got closer. Jungkook opened his mouth to speak but was interrupted by someone shouting for him.

"Jeon! Let's go, we got a new case!" His partner Minho yelled at him. Jungkook smiled as he looked at Minho, but it fell as he faced Yugyeom.

"You better be gone by the time I come back or pray I'm in a better mood." He growled before shoving past him to get his things. They knocked shoulders making Yugyeom lose his balance for a second before falling on his butt on Jungkook's desk.

"Get your ass off my desk boy!" Jungkook yelled before leaving the precinct.
