It was raining very hard when they've won that battle that night. She may have led them to victory, but she never felt the thrill. With the bodies lying around her and the blood, not her own, dripping down from her arms to the ground, she was silent. She just stood still and no one ever dared to go near her, not even her best friends.
"Jaymie..." Yeon whispered. "Let's go."
"Go where, Yeon?" Her tone was cold that he felt colder with the rain.
"Home..." He whispered. She snickered and looked up at him with one eye exposed and the other covered by her hair. He was shocked to see her eyes with a different kind of red. It was more like crimson, just like her father's. "Jaymie... you're eyes."
"Go home, Yeon. All of you. I still have somewhere else to go." Her voice was so low that Yoon thought she was getting mad. It was like six years ago over again.
"Jaymie." The familiar voice sent shivers down her spine. She always felt this whenever she felt him coming closer. Her eyes shifted back to brown and she calmed herself. But then she remembered what made her like this.
"Just stop right there and don't come near me." She whispered. Leo who stopped behind her, holding the sheath of his sword, ready to strike whenever. "There's no point in holding back. You're mother told you about the prophecy."
"It's for the sake of everyone." He was cold and everyone around them felt the sudden shift in the atmosphere. All of them were alert and confused. They didn't really know what to do in the situation.
Then they heard a faint clap from the sky. They thought it was just thunder, but Ken looked confused as he search the night sky. Then they heard shrilling sounds from the distance, enemies who still survived saw a golden fire slashing through them. The clapping grew louder as it got nearer and all of a sudden he dropped right in between Leo and Jaymie. It was another Nephilim with golden eyes. He turned to the red-eyed halfling and held her tight.
"I'm here." He whispered.
"How'd you know where I was?" She asked.
"I heard you calling me. Even from a distance. I heard you. I promised that I will come for you if you'd call for me." He smiled reassuringly and Leo could ignore the sight in front of him. The Nephilim was protective and he could see Jaymie being vulnerable around him. He felt a pang of jealousy and aggressively approached them.
"I'd stop you right there, brother. Don't bother going near Jaymie ever again." He threatened the blue-eyed Nephilim and faced him. The gold in his eyes are so familiar that he noticed it immediately. He turned to his mother with shock and the mighty angel moved forward. The shock in her eyes was a mix of pain and guilt.
"Get me out of here." Jaymie held the Nephilim's hand and closed her eyes. "I'm exhausted." She whispered. "He held her tightly and delicately like she could break anytime. And they suddenly disappeared. Leo and the others tried to go after them, but Jaymie's father stood in their way. Bin and Vi were behind him and with their weapons out, they were ready to fight their comrades to let Jaymie go.
"Let her go." Tenrou, Jaymie's father exclaimed.
"I will still find her no matter what. She will die with my blade. That's what the prophecy said. She has to die. She will destroy this world sooner or later." Leo threatened the Demon-god and King of the Underworld.
"She will find you when that day comes." The demon said angrily and was about to leave when Leo exclaimed something that he shouldn't have.
"I loved her, you know. I always will." There was a hint of pain in the way he said it. They were together for 5 years and got engaged for the next 5 years. Those 10 years together just broke like a glass.
"You don't deserve her. If you think you do, you wouldn't do this to her." Vi, the calmest of them all, grabbed him aggressively and his teeth clenching with anger. He threw Leo strongly and left with Bin.

Hi. I'm Sofe. So this actually my first story. I really hope you'll like it. So okay. I'm a big fan of Kpop that's why I used them as my characters. HAHAHAHA! Besides I've already had this story for a long time now and took the courage to post it here in wattpad.
So anyway, I used Park Hae Jin as Tenrou, Jaymie's dad. Because he's a demon-god and I kinda liked him as the character. He has both good and evil co-existing in his face. Hahahaha! And Tenrou's a demon-god so expect him to look younger since he's immortal.
Thanks. Bye!
