He began from their conversation from that morning, "She asked me 'how was your day?'" mimicking her voice in attempts to cheer me up.
Ignoring his joke, she kept on working.
Continuing the story, he chuckled "So I asked her 'do you really care or are you asking for her since we had a shift yesterday?' Honestly I don't think she liked that response."
She smirked at the comment, "like it really matters, not like she cares or anything."
"I told her about our conversation by the pile of books, you know the one by the corner." He admitted with guilt. "and how you were all 'broken like everything was in pieces'".
"YOU WHAT?" She snapped, dropping her phone on the counter.
Storming out of the store not caring about the repercussions, she marched to the parking lot only thinking what an asshole.
"Keisy wait!" interrupting her thoughts. "What?" she screamed ready to argue with him, yet when she turned around it was her. Shit.
