A girls history catches up to her, and it won't be pretty.

/ I do not own Twilight or it's characters and their stories. But this story and the character of Robyn are mi...
I slowly wake up, wondering why I haven't heard a baby crying. That's odd... I quickly sit up and check beside my bed, only to see the bassinet empty. "Eli!?" I panic and jump up, rushing downstairs. Where the hell is my baby!?
I hold my chest and slump against the doorway when I see mom sat on the couch with him, feeding him a bottle. "Jesus Mama, tell me before you kidnap my baby."
She looks over. "I'm sorry, I wanted you to rest."
"You scared the shit out of me." I snap a little harsher than I intended, walking over and taking him.
"I'm sorry baby. You're just mad from yesterday." She smirks a little.
I sit in the armchair glaring at the wall. "Am not. Paul and I got along fine."
"Hmm." She muses.
We did, sorta. After he saw Elijah for a while we tried to speak, but it ended in a small argument. The truce was already broken, which annoyed him, but I didn't initiate the argument so I'm mad that he's mad at me for it. It seems petty, and childish, but I really don't care anymore - I just want my baby happy and healthy. It just means I have to deal with the pack and Paul and everything else.
"Do something useful without annoying me and run the sink please." I throw a cushion at her.
She gasps. "Ooh! Is it time for his first proper bath?!"
I giggle. "Yes it is."
She runs to the kitchen and I gaze down at Elijah. "She's the only thing I'm glad we came back for." I whisper and sigh, burping him as I head to the kitchen. Mom already has baby soap, his towel and the lotus sink mat set in the sink. I lay him on the table and undress him carefully, lifting him in.
Mom leaves the tap running as I lay Eli on the lotus. He fusses a little but I pour water over him gently. "There we go baby look at you." I coo; he looks around and settles, seemingly enjoying it. I smile and watch him, not noticing the door knock or mom go to answer it.

"All nice and clean." I coo and wipe his face as he hiccups.
"Your brain seems to have turned to mush." A voice says and I glance over my shoulder. Embry.
I suck my teeth and focus back on Eli. "It's called baby talk, it's how you interact with a baby dumbass."
"I know... I just don't know how to get you to talk to me." He admits rubbing the back of his neck.
I gently lift Elijah out and lay him on his towel, swaddling him in it as I wipe his face dry with the corner. "You won't. Bye bye." I say and walk past him heading upstairs.
I head him sigh and then groan as someone slaps him. "Go after her!" Mom hisses as I roll my eyes and lay Elijah on the bed, grabbing a diaper, vest and baby grow. I gently dry him off and put lotion on him before dressing him. I feel someone - Embry - watching the whole time.
