Rocket's POV.
I was having my daughter with me on a mission searching for an orb it was the first mission she comes with us I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings so I didn't see the blonde guy with the orb till my own daughter shot at him making him let's go of the orb so she jumps and runs over falling in the way as she is just learning how to walks, so Groot says to me "I am Groot!" When I turns around seeing Feli wobbling over to me with the orb and my gun in the floor so I grabs my gun puts it back on the holster in my back and kneels down as she gets over to me as she gives me the orb I puts it on my pocket as I picks her up as I says "good job my daughter, but don't do that again you scared me" she smiles softly as she says "okay daddy, I am sorry daddy I didn't mean to scare you I just wanted to help you and Groot" I smiles and kisses her forehead softly as I say "no need to be sorry you do it because I got distracted by the way you did it great I am proud of you" she smiles as she then giggles, then the guy comes over as he says "hey rodent gives me back the orb is belongs to me" I growls louder at him as I say "I am not a rodent!" And he says "not you her!" He points to Feli sticking his finger close to her.
I can see that Groot was about to snap but then I heard a tiny growls and the guy squeaked as he says "takes her off!" When I turns around I can see Feli bitting his arm I stared laughing so hard that I have to leave Groot doing it but the green girl stands up and sees it so she start laughing as well she walked over as she says "this have to be hilarious" as I say "it is my daughter always have to solve the problem that way" when Groot grabs Feli she looks up at Groot and smiles innocently as he say "I am Groot" she smiles as she says "sorry Groot I didn't meant to scares you" Groot brings her to me as I holds her close to me as the guy glares at her she growls louder at him and he flinches as Groot steps in front of me covering Feli from his view I hugged her as she hugs me close so we start fighting till the Nova Corps appears and takes all of us in my daughter hide her face on my chest I was trying to calms her down when they takes us to our cells I start calming my daughter more in such a more lovely way she knows that I don't shows my feelings in front of everyone she was trying her best to keeps calm.
But once we arrives to the cell she breaks once again and start telling her sweet things so she calms down as Peter says "so sorry for calling her a rodent and for getting you all into this it wasn't my intention" I looks at the door as I say "not apologize to me apologize to her I didn't want my 2 years old daughter here!" I feels Feli clinging onto my back she was scared as I heard Groot says "I am Groot" I turns around and picks her up as I sits down on the bed with her on my lap rubbing her back all I want to do is protects her, makes her able to play around, begin her happy self like she always is but in here is hard but all of a sudden I heard her giggles and I looks at Peter who was making funny faces so she wobbled to the door as I follows her in case she falls as he ask "she just learned to walk?" I looks at him as I say "yeah she started walking a few weeks ago now she is trying to figure out how to run just like when she takes the orb form you, she is a sweetheart when she wants to with strangers and a smart ass with weapons she had known how to helps me build a bomb or even a gun with me, both of us have been experimented by begin teared apart and put back together several times years ago when she was only hours born her mother died along with her sibling she was the only survivor from that then we escaped and find Groot since that day we have been with him and able to understand him, her first word was dad then I am Groot since she has grow up with him I know that I can trust in Groot to takes care of my daughter but knowing that the first two minutes she will get grumpy because I am not there" he smiles smiles softly.
When I heard a tiny yawn I looks down and picks up my daughter as I say "okay my daughter we need resting it was a long day, night Quill" he just nods not wanting to get Feli grumpy I smiles as I lays down and lays her down beside me covering us up with the blanket once she was asleep I start thinking of how I will gets us out of here I don't want my daughter to grows up in a prison and Groot have been now complaining loudly of how uncomfortable for him the bed was I can hear Peter turning around on his bed knowing he wasn't comfortable either but all of a sudden loud crash and screams where heard making Feli bolts awake crying because of it I growls louder as I get up and out of the cell as I gives Feli to Groot as I see Quill opens the door and runs down the hallway where Gamora's cell is when he sees it empty he started worrying and runs down till he finds her begin cornered by a guy.
