"J-Jungkook I l-like you. Will you g-go out with me?" Taehyung asked blushing profusely. 'Damn stuttering' he cursed in his mind.
"I couldn't be more pleased Tae. I've been waiting since so long to ask you out but I was afraid that you'll reject me given to my indecent reputation of being a playboy. Thanks for giving me a chance baby." Taehyung was soon engulfed in a tight hug as his mind replayed the words he just heard.
He couldn't believe what was happening. He and Jungkook had started their interactions two months prior but the unrequited crush he had on Jungkook had been there since the very first day he layed his eyes on the school's popular soccer captain.
As cliche as it may sound, the rain was pouring heavily one day and Taehyung hadn't seen the weather forecast beforehand. As he waited for the rain to stop, everyone had already left the campus. Majority of them had already brought their umbrellas with them while the other had someone to share it with. That wasn't the case with Taehyung though. The timid boy had no friends neither did he have someone who would pick him up from school. When he got tired of waiting, seeing how the rain was in no mood to stop pouring he decided to just let himself get soaked. As he stepped out from his shelter he was pulled back by someone. He lost his balance as he stumbled on his foot, making him hit the person's chest whose identity was yet to be revealed.
"Fuck I'm so sorry for pulling you back so abruptly. Are you alright?" Taehyung's heartbeat accelerated as he immediately identified the owner of the voice.
He hastily stood upright on his foot, his gaze casted down as he couldn't bring himself to meet the gaze of his crush Jeon Jungkook.
"I-I'm fine." Taehyung stuttered out as he stared at the patterns on the concrete floor.
"Oh that's a relief. Well I saw you stepping out in the rain and had to stop you. I see everyone's already gone so you obviously didn't have anyone to share an umbrella with. If it's not uncomfortable with you then you should share mine. I've seen you many times heading towards the same direction as my home. So I reckon we share the same neighborhood. So come, I'll drop you." Jungkook offered, making Taehyung's eyes widen. Just the idea of sharing the same umbrella as his crush gave him butterflies in his stomach.
"I umm if it's not an issue with you then, I would be grateful." Taehyung said as he adjusted his rimmed glasses, his eyes now meeting Jungkook's.

"Okay then let's go." Taehyung's wrist was grabbed by Jungkook as he dragged him out with him. The sound of rain drops hitting the umbrella was the only sound that could be heard as they walked in silence. So the soccer player took it upon himself to strike a conversation.
"Can you see without those glasses of yours?" He asked, curiousity bubbling in his mind.
"I've myopia so it's hard to see far objects clearly. So yeah not very clearly."
