Chapter 1.1

The lower decks, walls and floors of the ship were glowing with metallic luster, glittering in silver.

In front, several laser light like pilar beamed from above to the ground forming the prison rails that lock a black haired teenager who huddled himself at the far corner.

The teenager's age does look too big, and his face look a little childish.

With a few strands of his brownish black hair softly stuck on his cheek.

He sat on the metal floor with his with hands on his knees, glaring at the laser line in front of him.

It has been a while since he came into this interstellar world. And he still a bit confused of his current situation.

This world that was originally only seen in novels, movies, and comics is now truly in front of his eyes, making him feel like he is dreaming.

He was originally an ordinary student. It is reasonable to say that this age is the moment of vitality and youthfulness.

It's a pity that he can't soar and live life to the fullest.

He had suffered from a strange condition of an internal organ failure since he was a child, and was told that he only has fifteen years to live cause the doctors said that no treatment could prolonged his life further.

After hearing the doctor's conclusion, his parents gnawed their teeth and decided to freeze him. They thought that after waiting for more than a decade, when the medicine progressed enough to treat his strange illness, then after he'll be defrosted.

However, when he was asleep, others from the beginning of the construction of the Mars Base during the Earth Age, entered the interstellar era wherein tens of thousands of years later build spacecrafts the littered everywhere in the universe.

So did the freezing operation actually failed and he died then after he crossed over time?

Or did the freezing operation accidentally set the time of his defrosting to tens of thousands of years instead of 20 years?

But whatever reasons it will be, he felt that he is in a serious predicament.

Unlike those protagonist in the novel or TV series that travels from modern to an ancient setting, he definitely say that such plot can be easily played as it already gives the character an advantage of using and knowing modern knowledge and art from different times and places.

While him on the other hand.....

Well, you know the feeling of primitive people crossing over the modern society? However, in this case it is this interstellar era, wherein he plays the character of that primitive man.

In fact, compared to the possibility of a mishap happening during the freezing operation which might cause his tens of thousands years of sleep, he was much more inclined of crossing this out, cause albeit the appearance seemed to bear too much of a resemblance to his former self, his body is very healthy now, and beside when he first opened his eyes he saw a white-haired old man, who claimed to be his grandfather, upon meeting he also mentioned about the unexpected death of both of his parents, which made the both of them the only ones alive in the family.

And since he only woke up at that time, he was confused thus due to his limited knowledge of his situation he was compelled to follow the old man.

In the beginning, as a primitive man, he really did not understand anything, he can't even say the general language.

But the old man was very patient with his only grandson, he taught him the lingua franca, taught him how to use the high-tech everyday tools, and also taught him the most basic things in this era.

He followed his 'grandfather' in a small house for more than a month, just barely accustomed to the life of this era, however he didn't know why but the old man suddenly got anxious and hurriedly took him away from the planet they were inhabiting to go to the Dahl Galaxy(Dars Galaxy), but seeing the expression on the old man's face he was quite sure that something serious happened.

He naturally obediently followed his 'grandfather' behind, and sitting on an civilian spaceship, he was a little excited.

After all, during his time, traversing the vast sea of stars is every teenager's dream.

Only, he had not yet even had the time to appreciate his first travel along the sea of stars, when the legendary interstellar pirates came over to ruin it.
