Chapter-8

Stella. POV.

I looked at him my cheeks red. I was not sure what to say him. He was still holding me . His one hand was holding my waist and other holding my hands. Then he left me and stood up and walked towards the kitchen. I missed the warmth which left me .

Then i saw him holding the bowl of noodles and coming towards me. He sat down near me with bowl in his lap and picked up forkfull of noodles and motined for me to open my mouth.

I hesitantly opened my mouth and he fed me and after few bites I took fork from him and fed him. We continued like this till the whole bowl was finished. And then i asked him How come he was here and then he told me that his sister -in-law called him and told him to accompany me as I was alone here.

Then he told me to wait for him as he went towards his room and when he came back he was wearing a blur tshirt and grey pj bottoms.

Then he took my hand and lead me to the living room where he started searching for a movie. I left him and went to kitchen to make popcorns.

When they were ready I was suddenly lifted off from the ground by Vincent . I was blushing heavily and then looked at him with confuse look asking him why did he pick me up and then he said

"Your eyes are already got better and so i don't want you tripping." Then I guestred for him to stop to pick up the bowl.

Then he took me to the sofa where he softly put me down and then comfortably sat beside me ploppong his one arm behind me. I curled my feet under my legs on the sofa and slightly leaned towards him.

When the movie started then only I came to know that has started a horror movie. My whole face was pale so i tightly gripped into Vincent's tshirt.

Whenever a horror scene came a scream left my mouth and I hid my face in Vincent's chest. He was already securing me to his body. He had a smile on his face. I told him that I want to go but he said its rude for me to leave him alone and truthfully after watching the scenes I didn't have a heart to go alone into my room . Vincent has already switched off all the lights to create a ghostly atmosphere.

I was feeding me and himself popcorns which were laying on his lap. When the movie got over I was reluctant to get up . So he picked me up and took me to my room after I told him the direction of my room.

He kicked open the door and then laid me softly on the bed and left the room after switching off my room's light and pecking me on my forehead and saying goodnight.

After laying on the bed for 10 minutes I was not able to sleep. My conciousness was telling me that there was something in my room , under my bed, inside the closet and when i thought someone was sleeping beside me I quickly got up and ran towards the room form which the light was coming as I knew it was of Vincent's .

When I saw him standing beside his bed holding a glass of water. I ran towards him  and hugged him . I was shocked but after sometime he kept the glass down adn hugged me back and patted my back and asked me

"What happen Ella?"

"There is something in my room. After watching that movie I am scared . Can you please let me stay with you. I will sleep on the sofa. Its just I don't want to be alone."

I asked him nervously.

He chuckled at my words and said

"You can sleep and you don't have to sleep on the sofa . I know that you will not take advantage of me. And I was not aware that you were so scared of horror movies. I actually thought you didn't have any weakness. But now I know."

I scoffed at the cjoice of his words but wordlessely followed him and laid beside him.  He covered my with the duvet and then joined me.

I was about to sleep suddenly I heard something. I quickly scurried myself towards Vincent and hugged him.
He laughed at me and said

"Ella. That is my phone alarmtone."

I got embarassed and tried to pry myself but he hugged me tightly and said

"Ella , stay like this. I know you are afraid of ghosts . So I don't want you to shake me when I am sleeping. So stay like this."

Then he went quiet. I also snuggled into him because in my last life we used to sleep together because my parents and steve's death had a great imapct on me. At that time I used to cry so He used to coax me while I went to sleep like that.

Before sleep embraced me I felt him kissing my forhead and saying

"Sleep Ella."
