Time After Time

"Joey!" Meghan called from her room. "Come here, quick!" Joey rushed from his room, where he was editing his 2015 "July Favorites" video. "What, Meghan?" Joey entered Meghan's room. "It's been over a year that we've moved in together, maybe we should celebrate." Meghan suggested. "Ok! I'll buy some champagne." Joey added. David entered the room saying "Ooh girl I love to party. I'll invite all our friends and..." "No wait!" Meghan interrupted David, "I want us to be alone in this party."

At 9:30 of the same day, Joey began "What about that celebration you mentioned?" "Starting now." Meghan responded. Meghan began playing the 1895 classic "Time After Time" in their record player, which Joey found interesting, since Meghan was never into classic songs like that. "I thought it would, fit the scene." Meghan added. Meghan always has had crush on Joey, and Joey has also always had a crush on Meghan, but neither of them were brave enough to confess it, until now. Meghan began slow dancing with Joey to that song, which Joey considered a friendly thing. Meghan, on the other hand, had imagined her in Joey's arms for a long time, so she enjoyed the moment. David stared at them and Meghan signaled David to leave, to leave them alone.

The day after the dance, Meghan began to desire that moment again, how Joey held her in his arms, nevertheless, Meghan understood that was too much to ask for. Joey was also wondering how he could ask her out, and he began quietly giving himself pep-talks in front of the mirror to muster up strength for when the moment happened, but he would never fully convince himself to be strong and to fight for his dreams. Neither of them had any higher levels of bravery. The only thing they asked for was a small glimpse of hope.
