「F R I E N D」
A month has gone by and Taehyung is as good as he could be. His brand new book is back on track again and he has been getting good sleep, except - for some reason his parents are still trying to contact him. They've sent him letters, emails, voice mails and what not but after that talk with his mother, he realized he wanted absolutely nothing to do with his parents anymore.
He's not someone like his father and he never will be. He will never help them ruin others. Taehyung loves his grandparents but he hasn't met his grandpa ever since his grandmother passed away which was a year ago.
Taehyung loved his grandmother - Kim Yuri - very dearly. She loved him very much and he could never think of a life without her. Her death affected him deeply. He couldn't sleep properly, he suffered from anxiety and panic attacks very often. Soon, his parents forced him to go for therapy and forbid his grandfather to ever meet him again for he will remind him of her.
Taehyung no longer knows where he is anymore - he could if he wanted to but he's scared, scared that he's not ready yet but for the time being he's alright, he wouldn't say he's completely healed because that would be a lie but he's okay. He's coping with everything on his own. He's trying and he supposes he'll be fine.
So now he's walking inside his favorite cafe. He comes here whenever he wants to write or take his mind off something. He's been coming here ever since he moved to this part of town when his grandma died. He's familiar with all of the staff but he find a decent friend in Min Yoongi.
Min Yoongi is a pale small man with blond hair and a gummy smile. He's older than Taehyung but most people would mistake him for a 19 year old. His smiles are not as rare to Taehyung as to others. Min Yoongi likes Taehyung now, not at first because Taehyung had accidently spilled his coffee on Yoongi the first time he came here.
But Yoongi forgave him when he saw his red puffy eyes with dark circles underneath his hoodie when Taehyung started apologizing. That night Yoongi took him home, gave him a cup of hot chocolate and they both talked about everything.
Yoongi is a strange man Taehyung would think sometimes but if only he knew, that Yoongi thinks the same about him. Taehyung is taller and broader than Yoongi and sometimes Yoongi hates that because it makes Yoongi look weaker but that is wrong because Yoongi is just as strong as Taehyung. He can snap your neck in half with his pale hands.
Taehyung and Yoongi have gotten to know a lot about each other over time, from the smallest to the biggest things. They're like brothers and Taehyung loves Yoongi for who he is and Yoongi does the same.
And now they're both sitting at table, its Yoongi's break hour. They have a silent conversation going on but it feels as warm as it ever could. Taehyung is relaxed and happy right now, he wishes he could stay the same forever but he can't.
