WALKING NATURAL (TWD & Supernatural)

Chapter 2.

"Virginia 3 miles." Lea says, reading a road sign.
"L?" Dean says.
Lea looks over at her eldest brother.
"Lea, come on don't do this!" Dean says.
"Do what Dean?" Lea asks.
"Lea, tell us what you saw." Sam says.
"Stop having dad's bitchy attitude!" Dean spat.
Of course Dean nor Sam knew what Lea knew, so when Dean said that comment he had no idea what that would do to Lea.

She felt as if that meant she would turn evilly crazy too!

"Don't ever say that!" Lea yells.
Dean stops the truck & both him & Sam stare at Lea.

She always wanted to be just like John. The boys were equally confused.

"L? What did you see?" Dean asks.
"Who was it?" Sam adds.
Lea sighs & turns to face both of her brothers, putting her hand on the door handle.

"I saw Mary Winchester, your mother." Lea says.
As soon as she says those words, Lea opens the door & runs as fast as she can away from her brothers.

"L! Lea! Lea! Wait! L!" She can hear Dean yelling. But she doesn't stop.

Lea runs & runs, looking back to make sure neither of her brothers are near.

Finally Lea slows down, but she soon realizes how wrong she was to run out her alone, with out a weapon.

Walkers to left & to the right, closing in on her.

"7 ugly freaks!" Lea says as she searches for a weapon of some kind.

Before she can find anything, a walker grabs her, she kicks & screams at it helplessly.
Another one grabs her & she cries out for her dad & her brothers, hoping & praying.

But then a bright light & loud screech goes out & the two walkers head explodes.
Lea looks up to see a man with wings & bright shining blue eyes, that quickly fade to a normal blue.

"Who the hell are you?" Lea asks.
The man nods & disappears.

Lea looks around confused, but five more walkers are surrounding her.

"Shit! Shit! Shit!" Lea screams.

Right as a walker reaches for Lea, a gun shot goes off.
Then another & another & another & another.
All the walkers are dead.

Lea smiles & turns around, ready to hug her brothers.

"Who are you?" A man says.
Lea's smile falls when she sees that it wasn't Dean nor Sam that saved her.

"Who am I? Who are you?" Lea asks.
The man looks over to a younger man, who looks about 18 or younger.
"I'm Carl this is my dad, Rick." The boy says.
"I'm Lea." Lea replies.
"What were ya doing out here all alone with no weapon?" Rick asks.
Lea gulps.
"We have a camp. A mile that way." Rick says pointing east.
"We heard you screaming." Carl says.
Lea nods.
Carl looks at his dad & Rick sighs.
"How many walkers have you killed?" Rick asks.
Lea smiles, while pretending to count on her fingers.
"Oh I don't know maybe over a thousand by now." Lea says.
Rick & Carl both nod, Carl sends Lea a smile though.
"How many people?" Rick asks.
Lea's eyes bug.
"Oh, not many on purpose." Lea says.
Rick nods.
"Why?" Rick asks.
"There's a world out there no one will understand." Lea says.
Rick nods.
"Did I pass the test?" Lea asks.
Carl smiles.
"You can come with us if you want." Rick says.
Lea smiles & nods.
"Thank you!" Lea says, as she steps forward to walk with the two.

As they walk back to Carl & Rick's camp, Carl & Lea talk.

"So Lea? That's a pretty name." Carl says.
Lea looks at Carl & then smiles.
"What's your last name?" Carl asks.
"Winchester. You?" Lea replies.
"Grimes." Carl says.
Lea smiles.
"Back there uh you uh yelled out for your dad...& Dean & Sam. Who are they?" Carl asks.
Lea frowns.
"Oh sorry." Carl replies.
"No, no. It's fine. Their my older brothers." Lea says.
Carl nods.
