hoseok slowly pulled up to a small home. the drive had been fairly long, about 20 minutes.

opening the car door, taehyung stepped out and took a deep breathe. his parents probably aren't going to believe his story.

"bye tae!" hoseok grinned, waving. "text or call me whenever."

taehyung nodded and slowly opened the door, creeping into the house like a mouse.

and then, he noticed the small boy sat on the couch with a very worried expression.

a knot formed in his throat.

"y-yoongi?"

yoongi ran over to taehyung, wrapping his arms around the younger,

"taeyon, oh my fucking god."

taehyung cringed, subtly chewing on his lip as anxiety was rushing through his veins.

"can we... talk?" yoongi mumbled, a sudden look of disappointment and embarrassment washing over his face.

"s-sure."

yoongi lightly pulled taehyung over to the coach, both of them sitting down.

"you can, uh, say no yknow?"
yoongi spoke, looking down at the floor.

"that- that's not it."
taehyung stuttered, the knot growing tighter - almost to the point where he was struggling to get air into his lungs.

"why? a-am i not good enough taeyon?"
yoongi looked straight at taehyung now, tears welling up in his glossy orbs.

"you're more then good enough. it's just, you won't like me-"

"that's a stupid reason, tae. i just want you to be fucking real with me-"

"i am yoongi!"

"you fucking aren't, you know fucking well that you aren't!"

taehyung felt a wet, salty substance start to dash down his cheeks - which were slowly turning a pale red. and at this moment, he couldn't stop the words from slipping through his lips,

"I'M NOT NORMAL YOONGI!"
