Suspicious Murder

I grabbed the team and headed to Hoseoks house, we got there within 10 minutes of leaving the station. We knocked on the door but no answer. Looked through windows to see if we could see any movement indoors, that's when i saw him running out the back door.

"Police stop". Me and Taehyung made a a quick dash to the back door so we could catch him. Taehyung ran passed me and rugby tackled him to the floor. 

"I have nothing else to tell you, why are you handcuffing me"

"Save it for the station". We got into the car and drove back to get some answers out of him. Will he confess or will he keep quiet. To be honest i don't know, but with how this case is going anything is possible. We had arrived at the station and seated Hoseok into an interview room. We sat him down and presented him the the evidence we found against him about the case.

"Would you like to explain these texts messages between you and Miss Kim and why she chose to use a different phone to contact you on". He kept quiet. No expression on his face.

"Look Hoseok no matter what you answer you will be going to jail with your involvement, however if you confess then we may be able to shorten your sentence".

"It was all a misunderstanding. Amanda was a good friend of mine since we were little and i never wanted anything to happen to her. I knew she was taking drugs and just wanted to scare her to try and make her stop"

"And so you did this by killing her, or getting someone to kill here, or was that not the plan"?.

"I confided in Ji Young as i knew her, i expressed my feelings to her about how i felt and said that i wish there was a way to stop Amanda and all of this.  Yes i one text i might of said that maybe the best was if she was dead as she was in such a bad place, but never would actually do anything to hurt her. I was hurt and felt useless to a good friend"

"If that was the case then how did it come about you ended up at the crime scene, things aren't adding up here"

"Ji Young said that there may be a way to help her, i trusted that she was going to help me, but i guess she was in it for her own gain and no one else's. The day of the murder she sent me a video ". Hoseok got out his phone and showed us the video, it showed Ji Young standing outside the block of flats Amanda was staying. She was treating it like a documentary and explaining in a lot of detail what she was going to.

"Why didn't you show this to the police when they cam and questioned you"

"Because i didn't actually think she was going to do it, i thought it was just a prank she was playing on me. I made a mistake i know, just arrest me and get it over with, my life is over now anyway, i got no one".

And with that the case closed......
