Chapter 3 lunch and a party

Tris pov

We go to lunch and I get a hamburger and a piece of dauntless cake. We all start talking and I'm on my last bite of dauntless cake.

That's sooo sad! 😭

I was daydreaming about Tobias when Uriah snaps me out of it.

"Hey, tris" Uriah says

"Ya Uriah "I say

" I just want to say that I love your shirt and where did you get it?" He said.

"Oh I got it a Urban Planet ( A/N I love that store)" I said

" hey let's have a party at my house tonight" Uriah said.

Everyone said yes but I said I can't go.

"Why " they all ask.

I look at Chris with pleading eyes.

She just grabs me and pulls me out of the room.

" ok I live on dauntless street house number is 4645---

" wait I live right next to you!" I say.

" that's great! So you know that tree by your window I want you to climb out of it over to my house" she says.

" Chrissy you know that Eric ( my "dad") will probably hit and punch me! And if I don't make dinner he will whip me!" I say with treats in my eye.

" you know what I'm going home and I'll think about going to the party" I said

" Tris he is going to be there and he is going to hurt you!" She says.

" you know what I don't care"! I say to her! I throw my hands up in the air but she can see all of the cuts I did to myself.

" tris did you do that to yourself " she asks with tears in her eyes.

I don't answer I just run to the office and say that I'm sick.

They let me go home. So I start to walk home.

Christians POV

I know that everyone in my group was listening cause when I came back they all tears in there eyes except for Caleb who was crying.

I tell them that we are ditching school and going to help tris. They all nod and we leave.

We all get in our cars and drive to my house. When we get there we rush to my room and look out the window.

I see tris run in her room crying. I see her run to the corner but then I see Eric walk I to her room.

I tell them that that is her foster dad. Then I see the most horrifying thing. I see Tris walk into the middle of the room get down on her knees and pull up her shirt.

I see all of her scars.

Everyone is silently crying.

We see her get whipped and we hear all the things that he is saying to her . He screams her head off.

Then I hear the most hurtful thing he could ever say before he said " it's all you fault your parents died".

He then passes out and she starts sobbing. I see her grab a first aid kid and a knife walk into her bathroom and close the door.

I grasp and jump onto the tree and in her room. They look at me like I'm crazy. I just say she is cutting herself.

I run to the bathroom and kick it open I see tris on the ground with the word unwanted carved into her skin.

But then I noticed she passed out.
