I watched from the commander hatch of my tank as my forces poured into the city. The StuG's moving in a column formation. Their heavy front armour facing where the enemy should be. The city had been shelled by the super heavy magic cannon for the last day. Houses destroyed and on fire. Bodies littering the streets. The crunching sound of my tanks treads rolling over chared corps.
Once We had made it to the main gate of the castle It had seemed to easy. I was still on the commander's hatch when a sniper round hit next to me. Crossfire overlayed I quickly slammed the hatch shut and radioed in our reinforcements. 8 Sturmgeschütz IIIs, 26 MBTs, and 3 ATMBTs. They moved into the city quick corlaxes spraying every window, some smashing through houses. Only leaving powder in their path.
Just as they rolled up the artillery started hitting us. The driver of my tank started laughing, then the loader and gunner. All of our tanks have a mage to cast a shield to protect us from the arty. I grabbed the radio and told my forces to advance and shoot down the gate.
2 of the Sturmgeschütz IIIs took aim and shoot down the gates supports making it fall down. we advanced to a bridge the only thing keeping us from taking the castle was the bridge and one last gate. We quickly went into a single file line and over the bridge. Halfway across the bridge, the artillery started again this time it was not aimed directly at us. as we were getting closer to the gate on the other side.
The bridge in front of us blew and 2 Sturmgeschütz IIIs fell off into the water below. Then rockets from the up on top of the gate started coming towards us. The Löwe Zwei JA Sieben Anti-Magie Panzers in front of me stopped and started to back up. we all backed off the bridge. One of the Sturmgeschütz IIIs trakes got blown off as it was falling back then the bridge began to shake. Then I heard a thing that made everyone stop. just Vvvvvvvvvvuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrnnnnnn. I saw a plane fly overhead. Then an explosion on the hill. one of our planes had made it.
(The reviled and feared Ju 87 emerged as one of the foremost symbols of the second world war. Better known as the Stuka. The Stuka got its nickname from the German word Sturzkampfflugzeug or dive-bomber.)
