Chapter 5

Roxane's POV-

I woke up in a hospital room. I got scared. The monitor next to me started beating like crazy.

"D- dad! W- Wesley!" I yelled out hoping one or the other would come.

To my surprise they both came running inside.

"Honey what's wrong!" My dad asked frantically.

"You okay?!" Wesley asked twice as frantically.

"Y-yeah." I said calming down.

"W-what h-happened to me?" I asked not being able to remember how I ended up in a hospital room.

"I'll let you explain Wesley." My dad said with a sigh his eyes were red and puffy. Had my dad been crying?

"Thank you sir I'll take care of her." Wesley said smiling.

"I trust you will." My dad said walking out.

"Hey princess how are you feeling are you okay?" Wesley asked worriedly.

"Y- yeah, but what happened?" I asked clueless.

"Well your brother tired to rape you yesterday." Wesley said coldly but angry as well. His tone made me flinch.

"Sorry princess I didn't mean to scare you." He said holding my hand in his.

The flow of sparks was there again but this time I welcomed it. The door flew open my brother walked in his tall frame looked beat up and he had scars down his face. That's when I remembered it all came flooding like an avalanche.

He had beat me and tried to rape me. I jumped out of the bed and went behind Wesley yelling like a lunatic. "Don't let him near me! Get him away from me! Please!" I yelled holding onto Wesley's arm.

"Your a pathetic bitch nobody will ever want you your just a stupid who-" he was cut of by Wesley punching him in the face.

"Don't you ever call her that again!" Wesley yelled at Tod his voice sounded different like he was almost possessed. Wesley grabbed him by his neck and threw him across the room like he had just thrown a football.

I looked in horror as Wesley's eyes started to change color. "Oh god!" I yelled out.

Wesley turned around and saw me. I backed away afraid he would hurt me. "No please don't h- hurt me." I said putting my hands forward scared out of my mind.

His eyes didn't change color he kept walking towards me. I tripped over my own feet and fell to the floor.

"Wesley! Your scaring her." Juliana Wesley's mother came to my aid.
I looked back at Wesley he seemed to have snapped out of whatever trance he was in and looked pained.

I on the other hand was scared out of my wits I didn't know what to think anymore maybe the beating I got made me start to hallucinate.

I was left alone for the rest of the day after that. Nobody came in other then the nurses who would bring me food or check up on me.

Wesley's POV-

"Wesley! Stop your scaring her." I heard my moms voice.

I looked at Roxane she was really scared I felt bad for scaring her. My wolf just wanted to be with her.

I walked out of there I had to go run. Feel the air through my fur. I ran to the woods and shifted into my wolf form. I ran and ran until I couldn't anymore.

"Maybe we should tell her so she's not afraid I mean she saw us kinda change in a way." Ellis my wolf said.

"Yeah I'll tell her once she's out of the hospital." I said standing up and going back to my house.

I got home and my mom, dad and Roxane's dad were outside discussing something. "Hey I'm back, what did I miss?" I asked curious. "Is Roxane alright?!" I quickly asked worried about her.

"Yeah sport she's alright." Mason said chuckling. "Thank the goddesses." I said sighing contently.

"Look Wesley you seem to be very interested in my daughter. I was discussing with your parents if she could stay and live here with you guys." Mason said seriously.

"Really?!" I asked excitedly. "Don't worry sir I will take care of her and protect her and respect her." I said seriously.

"And my husband and I will make sure of that and we will be glad to have her stay with us." Juliana said smiling.

"Thank you." Mason said. "I'm not to trusting with leaving her with my son anymore." He said coldly.

"Well I'll go tell her about this arrangement, I'm sure she'll be happy." Mason said walking to his car.

"Mate is staying with us!!" Ellis yelled excitedly in my head.

"I know right it's a dream come true!" I yelled back excitedly. "We still need to tell her about the whole being a wolf thing." Ellis said and I could hear the frown in his voice.

Roxane's POV

"Roxane I'm going to have you stay with Wesley." My father said sitting me in the truck.

"What? W- why?" I asked confused.

"I don't trust your brother he's getting out of hand you'll be safer with that boy he seems to really like you." My father said smiling at me.

"W- Wesley h- he's j- just m- my friend." I said stuttering but turning red.

"Oh okay." My father said laughing.

"By the way honey I need to tell you something important." My father said sitting on the truck but not turning it on.

"W- what is it?" I asked scared.

"Well kiddo you see we are well I'm a well werewolf. And neither of your brothers have entreated that's gift." My father said looking at me.

"A what?" I asked not believing him.

"It's true you'll know what I'm talking about when you find your mate." He said turning on the car. "Which I think you already have." He said smiling at me.

"What are you talking about dad?!" I asked confused.

"Look you'll know it's your mate when you always want to be with them, feel safe and a flow of sparks when you touch hands. Also when you turn 17 your wailed talks to you. Your almost 17 so if you hear a voice inside your head don't worry, your not going crazy." He said laughing like if that's what he had done when he found out.

"Your r- really f- freaking me out dad." I said worriedly.

"Yeah that's what I told my dad when he told me." My father said still laughing.

"By the way they don't know I'm a werewolf. Your little boyfriend or there parents I masked my sent. My rank is an Alpha." He said sounding proud.

"Dad did you try some pot or anything like that?" I asked really worried.

"No look you'll understand soon enough." He said pulling up at Wesley house.
