(Ada's POV)
I bit down deep, ripping the flesh, drinking the deers blood. I had caught it in a new record, 14 seconds. I finished my feast and wiped the blood off of my mouth. It was dark in the forest but that was nothing for me to worry about, I could defend myself after all I am a vampire.
Hi my name is Ada I am a third level extortioner, that means I have been a vamp for three years and I have skill in what I do. I am part of a vamp Clan called Teen Bloods, there are four members,me Ada, My best friends Joel and Eve and my cousin Paul. Our group Teen Bloods is just one of many in the vamp company, Bite&Fight. Well there is too much to explain, I'll tell you some other time.
I made my way back to my cabin where my group lives. I was around five minutes away from it when I heard rustling above my head, I knew who it was straight away.
"Hey Joel, you can come down now" I said turning around and looking up into the tree.
"Gosh you always have t ruin it don't you, I wanted to scare you" he said in a disappointed voice.
I laughed, Joel was a second level extortioner, still a rookie to me. "Never gonna happen fang boy" I said flashing my fangs at him, he flashed his back.
Joel had always flirted with me since he became a vamp. he's 18 and I'm 18, it could work but I think Eve has a crush on him but we tease her about it. Joel thinks being a vamp is cool, well sometimes it can be and sometimes it definitely cannot be. He chose to become a vampire unlike me, Eve and Paul.
We had been forced into vamp life by Bite&Fight because they knew of our abilities, our skills. I had been a gymnast, Paul was a police officer and Eve just liked to hurt bad people for the things they did.
We were walking down the path to the cabin and Joel took a hold of my hand, I didn't hesitate, I locked my hand into his and smiled at him, obviously he smiled back but he also added a wink in there.
We walked up to the front door and I got my keys out and unlocked it. I opened the door to find Paul and Eve kissing each other to death on the sofa.
"Having fun there guys?" Joel asked with a smirk, pulling me into him.
Eve gasped turned around to face us and gave us a guilty look while Paul sat there laughing. "It's fine guys, we'll just go for a walk, just be quick you two, we'll be back in an hour." Joel said
"Oh will we now and an hour, seriously?" I asked smacking Joel in the stomach. H eput his hand there and pretended to be in pain.
I grabbed his hand and walked out of the front door, as soon as the front door shut and grabbed my waist turned me around and kissed me.
"Yum you still taste like blood" he murmured to me.
"You just got a free meal" I laughed, he joined.
"I'm guessing you liked it, you didn't complain?" he asked.
"Um maybe" I winked and kissed him some more.
(Joel's POV)
That kiss was pure sweetness, I had been waiting forever for this day to come. She was my girl now, my vampire girl.
She was perfect,in my eyes,long brown hair, hazel eyes, beautiful body and an amazing caring personality. She let go of my hand walked a few tens of feet away and span around, the wind blew in her hair making her even more beautiful.
She walked up to the lake across from the cabin and walked down the wooden bridge and sat at the very end. I walked down and decided to join her, we took off our shoes and socks and dipped our feet in.
The water was warm and clear. It looked like there was a light in the water, I took no notice, I thought it was the moons reflection, boy was I wrong.
(Ada's POV)
It had only been around 20 minutes, we had ages yet.
"Hey Joel, do you wanna go for a swim?" I asked cheerfully.
"Sure baby" he smiled at me.
I took my top and shorts off and Joel did the same but with his pants and jacket, we had both stripped down to our underwear. We both jumped in and started splashing each other for at least 10 minutes.
"Hey baby come here" Joel said and I started swimming towards him as something tugged my foot. I ignored it and carried on swimming but it happened again but this time with claws.
"Joel somethings tugging my foot, can we get out, I'm scared?" I asked shakily.
"Yeah, lets go" he said as he started swimming towards me but before he could get there I was pulled down under. I screamed before I was fully under, I got a mouthful of water.
I could faintly hear Joel scream my name.
(Joel's POV)
Ada was pulled under, I shouted at the top of my lungs, plunging into the water. I swam out of the lake up to the cabin and ran inside.
"Why are you in your underwear?" asked Eve in a confused way.
"Long story, no time, Ada in trouble, dragged under water" I breathed out.
"Oh my gosh, what, where?" she asked.
"In the light in the lake" I replied.
