Life Changes? So Do People.

Summary/ Chapter 1.

Summary:

Clarissa Morgenstern, a 15 year old girl's life changes after her parents divorce. Both of her parents get one of two children. Clary is forced to go with her, now famous businessman, father. But, as promised will spend her last 2 years of school back in New York. Will she come back from California the same girl? Or will some 'golden boy' help bring out the old, fragile, little girl known as Clary?

Chapter 1. Clary POV.

I was walking along the California beach, in my backyard, alone. I always wonder what if I actually stayed with my mother, Jocelyn, and my older brother, Jonathon. He was 16 when I left. Now I've been packing my fashionable, fancy, and expensive clothes getting ready to go back in a few days.

Flashback

"Clary, Jon," my mother called, "your father and I are getting a divorce. It's only fair if each of go to both of us, so Jon, you will be staying with me. Clary, you will go with your father. But, since I must see my little girl, you will come back for your last two years of school. Understood?"

"Yep." I replied smoothly.

End Of Flashback

I now live in a mansion on a private beach just for dad and I. He became a famous businessman, so he's rarely home. Our house is huge, and I'm popular. I have over ten thousand followers on Instagram, and about 900 friends on Facebook. I tweet a lot, and many people retweet and like.

My old life wasn't this great... I was bullied, but once I left, I doubt anyone cared. Jon was always popular, but now... so am I.

Today I was celebrating my 17th birthday. Daddy flew home just for me. He got me a new Mustang. Now I have a blue Mini Cooper and a pink Mustang. I also got more clothes, and a Starbucks $100 giftcard. This will come in handy. For my 16th birthday, I had got my Mini Cooper and my own fashion line. Normally my summer job. I design clothes, go to school, am team captain for cheer leading, and soccer. The clothes I design, become real, go to my store, and are for sale. My store, Fashion Is Passion, (AN- Made up.) gets lots of sales. I recently added new swimwear. Oh, did I mention, I love surfing and singing. New hobbies.

After walking along the beach, and thinking, I went back to the mansion of a house and waited for Daddy's private jet to land. I decided to surf in the meantime. I also design clothes just for me. I have to make sure I'm not wearing the same clothes as others.

It's going to be really hard to say goodbye to my friends... Emily, Sarah, Kelsey, Mae, Maddie, Lucy, Selena, Nicki, and of course the boys, Cody, Daniel, Kendall, James, Logan, Harry, and Diego. Those were just a few. The hardest will be for my best friend Kelly, and my boyfriend Nick. They were all throwing me a birthday party, I knew this because, Lucy accidentally invited me. She must have clicked 'all contacts.' My iPhone 6s Gold, has over 500 contacts. My life is great!

I keep thinking about how my mother and brother will think of me, because, yes, Life changes? So do people. I always tell myself that... I'm not the little, fragile, bullied girl they once knew, anymore. I changed into my pink bikini with white polka dots, before grabbing my new surfboard and tunning to the ocean. I threw a blanket on the sand, as well as my beach chair and umbrella. I noticed Emily, Kelsey, and of course, Kelly setting up the beach for my party. I set up my stuff and checked my phone.
