Fighting the world

So firstly this is not exactly a poem but yes it's sort of a very mini version , that would pass as a poetic thought or quote I believe .

It's not like I am alone , but this place never seems like a home . There are figures beside me , still it's always me and never we . 

I have been fighting the world since I was small, maybe I have nothing other than myself in the midst of this all.
