A Great Day

Beep, Beep, Beep.

Kim: ugh, why does my alarm have to be so loud?

I got out of bed, got dressed and ready for a day of work, I walked out the door, got into the elevator and headed out of the apartment building, I got into my car a drove to work.

Kim: Phew, I just made it on time.

Sammy (one of my co-workers) came over to me.

Sammy: Did you see that cute guy over the staring at you?

Kim: Yeah.

Sammy: I think he likes you!

Kim: There is no way that he, the cutest guy in the building, could possibly like me.

Sammy: Oh come on, your a beautiful woman, go talk to him.

Kim: What if your wrong and he was only looking at me because there is something on my face.

Sammy: Your face is clean and don't worry you don't have any pimples.

Kim: fine I'll talk to him.

I get up and walk towards him, but I chickened out and made a B-line for the water cooler,

Sammy comes following after me.

Sammy: What happened? Why didn't you go talk to him?

Kim: I got really nervous and chickened out.

Sammy: Just a quick heads up, he's heading this way!

Kim:WHAT?

I turn my head to see him walking towards me.

Cute Guy: Hey.

Kim: Umm hi?

Cute Guy: Do you have any plans for tonight?

Kim: Umm no.

Cute Guy: Do you wanna go out tonight?

Kim: Ok, I guess yeah.

Cute Guy: Great I'll pick you up a 7:00. Oh my name is Conner by the way.

Kim: My name's......

Conner: Kim, I know who you are.

Kim: Oh.

Conner walked back to his desk.

Sammy: Heeheehee, you got a date and to think you doubted me.

Kim: I can't BELIVE I got a date with him, he's just soo perfect, there are no flaws.

Sammy: I know right.

After I got home there was a knock on my door, I opened the door to see a delivery man.

Kim: Umm, can I help you with something?

Delivery Man: Here's your package miss.

Kim: Umm, Thanks?

I then shut the door a placed the package on the table.

Kim: I don't remember ordering anything.

I open up the box to see a card and something rapped in tissue paper.

Card: To my beloved niece, I'm sorry I didn't visit you on your birthday, I hope this present I got you will make up for it.

I rip off the tissue paper to see a magnificent red strapless dress that goes just below my knees, I try it on, it fits perfectly.

Kim: Oh this dress will be perfect for my date tonight!

I put my hear into a slick ponytail and put on my black pumps. A few minutes later my door bell rings, I open it and there is my handsome date Conner in his tux.

Conner: Wow, you look beautiful!

Kim: Thanks, you look pretty good yourself.

Conner: You ready to go?

Kim: Yup.

We arrive at my favourite restaurant "Contigo." We're seated by the window, the moon is shining so bright, it's like we're glowing in it's light, how romantic!

I date was amazing, he drove me home and walked me up to my apartment, he leaned in to kiss me, when suddenly I could hear a beeping sound and I smell gasoline, oh no what's about to happen?
