Chapter 3 - Why Me?

*Brielle's P.O.V* 

"Watch your back Hoe," Is that last thing she said to me before she went back to her desk, leaving me with a world of questions.

"Why me?" I asked myself as the bell ringed. It was finally time for lunch. I walked in the cafeteria and instantly locked eyes with Taylor. She was sitting with Emma which I am guessing to be her friends.

"Oh hey Brielle, I was just talking about you, you should come sit with us," Taylor said to me. 

"Umm, no thank you I think i'm going to sit by myself," I told her rolling my eyes. "Fine, it's not We really wanted you over here," Taylor said.

I walked over to a table with just one girl sitting at it. "Is it OK if i sit here?" I asked the girl.

"Um, sure i guess. Your Brielle Right? The one that did wayy better then Taylor in music class. I heard that she is getting moved to advanced music," She rambled to me. "I mean yeah, I do kinda have a thing for music," I said sitting down.

"My names Kate By the way," Kate said. "that's a pretty name, " I told Kate. "yeah, and if you wanna be good i advise you to not do better then Taylor. I went to her old school when I was a Freshman like you, and anyone who got in her way did not do well. Her parents are like super rich, and she will sue you for anything," Kate told, as I tried to take it all in at once.

"Damn, really?" I asked. "yeah but since were friends now I can help you, I know well. We used to be friends once," Kate told me. 

"Really?" I kept asking. "yeah we were. but once I started getting move stuff, and her boyfriend stared talking to me, she did not want anything to do with me," Kate said, and by then lunch was over.

"well see you later," I yelled. "whats your insta so I can dm you," Kate asked.

"Its @lovingmcclains, follow but your probably already following me, since it is a McClainiac school,'' I yelled. 

I walked to my next class History.

"Good Morning Class my name is Ms. Jackson, and I am your history teacher lets get started,' Ms. Jackson said.

After that I went to P.E, Biology, Then reading.

After the day was over I went home tired. "How was your day sweetie?" my mom asked me as I walked in the door. "First day of School, and I already have a enemy," I told her.

"what no, Your awesome honey," She tried to reassure me. "yeah mom I know, but not everyone else thinks that,' I told her walking upstairs.

When I got to my room i pulled out my home, then ignored it and got on my phone. All of a sudden, I had noticed that i got a dm from someone.

I read it and it said "Hey its Kate" so i texted back.

(Brielle- Bri   Kate- Ka) 

Bri- Hey what are you doing

Ka- oh sorry i gtg but text you later

bri- ok

And with that I took my shower and went to bed.
