Mya's POV
I woke up to "Lights Down Low" playing as my alarm clock. I looked at the time and it was 7:15. I got up and did my hygiene and put on a black and white crop top, some black Joggers, some black and white vans, and some hoop earrings and I curled my hair and looked at the time again and it was 7:45.
I put on a few layers of mascara, curled my lashes, and put some EOS on my lips. Then I went downstairs to eat a bagel. I'm 5'4 in the 11th grade, I'm African American, Korean, and Indian. I have long curly hair (but I usually straighten it.) I have a nose piercing and a belly button piercing.
"What's up Baby Sis." My brother, Khayman, said. "Hey K." I said while putting my bagel in the toaster. "you're up early today." I said smiling. "Yeah, I gotta go to this boring interview for Ingalls." He said. "Aw, it probably won't be that bad." I said and he looked at me with the "really -.-" face. I laughed and asked "where is JD? He's gonna be late. JD!" I yelled upstairs.
He came running downstairs while still putting his shirt on. I laughed, "maybe if you went to sleep earlier instead of talking to that Niecey girl you would've been up early." He rolled his eyes "shut up, I wasn't even up that late." He said trying to back his self up. "Whatever" I said. "You gone give me a ride to school? I don't really feel like driving my car. "What?? Ugh yeah whatever but let's go now." I said. While finishing my bagel.
"BYE DAD!!" I yelled upstairs and heard him say "BYE AND HAVE A NICE DAY AT SCHOOL AND WORK!" He said talking to all three of us. I couldn't say bye to my mother because she leaves to go to work at 6 am. So me and JD got in my car and off to school we went. Oh and I also have two other sisters named Tyla, and Toni. Big family hey? Tyla is in 10th and Toni is out of school, she's 25 and has a baby girl (Gadiyah) who's 4 years old. Tyla goes to me and JD's school but she's not going today because she's sick.
We made it up there and we were both greeted by a lot of people considering that we were both very popular. JD was popular by looks, being fun to be around, and just being him. I'm popular because I'm nice and also fun to be around.
While we were walking in the school we were greeted by more people, then JD went upstairs to the 12th grade side and I went to my locker and seen one of my best friends standing at my locker. "MYLESSS" I screamed jumping on him. I didn't know he was gonna be back already because he was suspended for fighting....I hate when he's in trouble.
I've known Myles for quite awhile now. We first met when I first moved out here...and we were both in the same class in 7th grade and we became best friends ever since then. He hugged me while i was still on him. I laughed and jumped off of him and we talked until it was time for first period. We only had 3 classes and lunch together.
I went to Mr. Darlin's technology class first. Mr. Darlin is my favorite teacher he acts like one of us.
"Everybody listen up, we got fresh meat here today." He laughed. I looked over and seen a boy that looks about 6'0 walk in and he was pretty attractive I have to say, he had hazel eyes. I heard Mr. Darlin call my name. "What? Huh?" I said. "Just go sit next to her" Mr. Darlin said and the boy came and sat down. I looked over and i seen him struggling with the login info. "The username is your Student I.D. and the password is your last name." I said. He looked over at me and smiled. "Haha thanks."
For the rest of the class i just showed him how to setup a page and told him what we do in that class...small talk. Now on to 2nd period with Myless.
I walked to 2nd period and seen we had a sub. She looked at me and she just looked back at the computer. Well..looks like I didn't need my math book today. "Hey Mya!" I looked over and seen Myles sitting on top of the desk gesturing for me to go over to where he was. "Hey Meelz." I said sitting down in the desk he was sitting on.
"Look, I wanna introduce you to somebody." He said. Looking behind me. I turned around. Let me just say this...he is a gorgeous ass piece of man..he had green eyes that's to die for a little mini Afro which is really cute and he's light skin..looks mixed maybe black and white. He's freaking perfect, but if he isn't over 6 feet that's a no-no
"This is Kalin. He finally decided to move from the Bay and come to Indiana...I don't understand why though...Bay Area is kind of better than Indiana" he laughed "but it's good I got my bro back."
"Hey Kalin, I'm Mya" I said reaching my hand out. He just looked at it and make a stank face. Oh I see im gonna have to cuss this dude out . Then he smiled and Myles laughed and he said "I don't give handshakes I give hugs."
Then he stood up and opened his arms. And I laughed and stood up to hug him and as soon as I did...I seen how tall he was, and I'm guessing he's over 6 feet. Jesus really blessed me today with this fine one here. I hugged him and we sat back down. "How tall are you?" I asked him. "Like 6'2" then he balled his fist up and put it over his mouth and made a fan girl face and I laughed. "All laughs huh?" He said. "Yeah sure."
"See I knew you two would hit it off." Myles said. "This is your sister too now Kalin. We have to protect her from EVERYTHING." Myles said overly dramatic. "Really Myles?? Hush" I said kind of embarrassed. "Ha trust me, I got you. Anybody mess with you just come get one of us." Kalin said hitting his chest. I laughed. "That won't be a problem." I said. "Yeah, she doesn't usually have problems with people here considering that everybody loves her, it's that EVERYBODY loves her..specifically the guys hint hint. They're always looking at her if they get too friendly im gonna have to put the paws on em." Myles said throwing punches. I laughed. This kid here. Then some people on the other side of the room called me over to sit with them, so I walked over to them and talked to them.
Kalin's P.O.V.
Mya is freaking beautiful. Why didn't Myles ever tell me about her. Now I know why we have to protect her from the other guys. That's exactly what I'll do.
