This is the story of a new born vampire named Samuel, he was found by a vampire, almost dead from a gun shot wound in an ally way. When he woke from his transformation sleep he looked up to the ceiling and he could see everything in amazing detail, all the dust mites and all the colors. Beside him he could hear everything for miles and miles, but the thing that got his attention most was the sound of light unnecessary breathing, he sat up quickly alert and on guard. "Who are you?" he asked the strange vampire, "My names Valery, i found you dieing in an ally way and saved you" the strange vampire responded. "I'm not going to hurt you, you need to feed.. We don't feed on human's, it wont be easy but you'll get used to it", "Where do we feed then? If were still in the city we'll be surrounded by humans" Samuel asked.
"We are in the city, its the only place i had to go, no one knows that were vampires, its against our rules to tell humans what exactly we are, before we go hunting you need to learn human behavior. I advise you to hold your breath when we go hunting so that you wont smell the humans while were in town, we'll go out into a field far from town" Valery responded, "Elk?" Samuel asked. "Yes, remember to shrug your shoulders slightly to look like your breathing, we'll drive out of town then leave the car where no one will see it. Blink, watch humans to find more behaviors you think you can copy" Valery told Samuel, "got it" Samuel stated. "Also don't sit still, humans don't do that" Valery stated, "right" Samuel said in agreement. "You ready?" Valery asked, "yes" Samuel said plainly. And with that they walked to the car, Samuel is a tall skinny guy, abut five foot eight with blonde hair.
Once they were out of town Valery left the car, a black Lamborghini, behind a tree. "Do what comes natural, except feeding on any human sense you may smell" Valery told Samuel and that's what he did. His red eyes narrowed and he flew towards the south end of the empty field, past a barn of cows and working humans. He held his breath to avoid attacking them, he was running so fast the humans only looked once thinking that a storm was coming because all they felt was a breeze and they heard a whoosh. Samuel caught the smell of a huge elk near a river and lurched him self at it, the elk tore his shirt and Samuel bit into the elks neck. Samuel's eyes lightened a slight after he fed, he stood up and looked around to find Valery feeding on the second largest elk, not a tare in her cloths or a bit of blood on her.
"How did you do that?" Samuel asked Valery, "do what?" she questioned back. "Not get anything on you" he answered, "practice" she said confidently. "I hope im that good some day" Samuel said and wiped his face on his sleeve, "I'm sure you will be" Valery responded. "So whats next?" he asked, "nothing for a few months, unless you have super self control.. Wait.. You didn't want to feed on the humans when you ran past them, maybe you skipped a few months" Valery said and thought about it out loud, "so saying i did 'Whats Next'?" Samuel said repeating his question. "School" Valery said flatly, "Oh joy, why school? I'm twenty four years old" Samuel said dully. "That may be so but you now look like your 16" she responded, "Huh?" Samuel said thoughtfully and looked into the river at his reflection, "wow i do". "yeah so your going to be in-rolled in high school, a junior" Valery told him, "why?" he said questionably. "To make us look like humans, its apart of the ploy" she said, "what happens when we graduate?" he asked. "We move that's what" Valery answered, "that's a lot of work just to keep our secret" Samuel stated. "Yes but if we don't keep the secret the Romanian's will kill my whole clan" Valery stated solemnly, "clan? How many are in your clan?" Samuel asked.
"Eight, nine if you count you" she responded, "So when do i start school?" he asked. "Next week", "so soon?" another question. "Well originally i planed on next months but since your already so tame", "what about my eyes". "Contacts, they'll De-salve in your eyes every other hour so you'll have to time it well and go to the bathroom and change them quickly, which helps with your human ploy, because humans have to pee and stuff. Just remember to flush the toilets and change your contacts, don't walk to fast" Valery finished telling Samuel and showed him how fast to walk while they entered the house, where seven other vampire's sat hardly moving, here its obvious that as long as there was no humans that they could act as vampire as they wanted.
"You should practice some, but no worry's you have a week of nights and days to do so, since us vampires don't sleep. Remember to go feed in the field's now and then, you can run there but don't eat humans and run fast.." she finished, "shouldn't you be going with him when he goes to feed Valery?" Valery's partner, Ryan said and put his arm around Valery's shoulder. "He didn't once attack a human even when he ran past a farmer and his cattle, on the hunt" Valery said to Ryan and Sasha, another coven member's eyes widened. "Wow" Sasha's partner, roman said. "So" Josh, the sixth coven member, "i guess this means he's going to school with us now?" Josh finished. "you've guessed right" said Valery, "exactly how old are you Valery?" Samuel asked. "If its not too much to ask", "I'm one thousand hundred and thirty five years old" Valery answered. "Oh wow, you don't look over 20" Samuel complimented. "Well thanks" she responded, "its a vampire gift".
"So i see" Samuel said looking around at a room of eight vampire's frozen in time, never aging. Going to school wouldn't be easy for him, but he was ready to try. "I went to school once i think i can do it again" he thought to himself and then he realized it would be different this time because he would have to resist feeding on humans, he feed and prepared for the next week and then it came time for him to go to school. By then he knew what to do, but something he didn't expect when he walked into school that day was falling in love. It was lunch time and he walked into the cafeteria and stepped into line for food, a ploy because vampire's dont need food. They can force feed them self's and let the venom De-salve the food though.
