Chapter one: where a timelord loses her home

Ever get that overwhelming fear that clutches at you, whispering at you "Go run away!! " like a warning bell ? Well that was the type if fear Starlight felt when her father Jarius told her of the timewar and what was to come of her. "We're all going to fight Star even your brother,even you. " "War means death as in its 99.1% possible that I'm going to die in this war. " the young timelord thought as she ran away from her home and began her search for a TARDIS, one that was willing to take her away from the horrors to come.  Just as she was about to give up she saw it, a broken TARDIS stuck as a red British telephone booth with black windows. In her mind it was perfect but to others of her race it was broken.  That night,the night she flew away in her red telephone box was the night her family was slaughtered by a flock of Daleks the timelords greatest enemy,but that was just the beginning of the pain and suffering of the war,of the end of a race.

100 years later

Guilty and ashamed those were the two feelings Starlight lived with for a hundred years.  That scary never knowing feeling if her family was dead or not.  So after a hundred years of being afraid,of hiding Starlight went back to her home planet Gallifery after deciding to stop being a coward and fight with her people.  But what she found brought her to her knees,ash fell down into her red hair,and the smell of burning flesh and metal filled her nostrils Gallifery was burning.  As Starlight looked around she began to cry big never ending tears as she saw people that she had once called friends lay around her some killed during regeneration,others had used up all their regeneration,but all the same the site brought stabbing pains in the young timelords two hearts.  "No, no, no, no !!" she sobbed stumbling up as ash and smoke began to fill her lungs.  The cries of the dreadful Daleks filled the air as she saw one of the Dalek ships explode. "SHUT UP !!!" She screamed covering her ears and running back to her TARDIS.  As she yanked and banged at the controls she continued to sob her stomach hurt from crying but her entire body felt numb with pain from seeing her entire race dead around her, and the smell of her beloved home planet burning. Finally her TARDIS began making the "ring, ring, ring" sound that it made when it was travelling she had picked 2 years in the future, taking a deep breath she flung open the door and began sobbing again it was gone Gallifery was gone.
