Pokémon Fusion

Chapter 3 The Journey Begins

The tings inside the box were Mega Stones. A Charizardite Y, a Charizardite X, a Blazikinite, and a Abomasnowite.

"These are for the four pokémon I gave you several years ago."

I was playing with the pokémon in the lab's garden. Two Charmander, a Torchic, and a Snover would always be with me.

I guess the professor noticed, because he gave me their pokeballs and said "Your journey at the lab ends today. But another journey begins. I've noticed that these pokemon have taken a liking to you. You should take them."

"Thank you, Professor. I'm sure they will deepen the bond between me and my pokémon."

"You're welcome."

"Well, I guess it's time to start another journey."

"Aren't you forgetting something?" Professor Sycamore was holding another box in his hands. This one was smaller. He opened the box. How could I forget the key stone?!

"Wait Professor, this is just a key stone. What about a Fusion Stone?"

"Well Dan, Mega Evolution and Fusion are closely related. We've done some testing at the lab recently, and it seems Key Stones can miraculously transform into Fusion Stones!"

I looked at the sparkling Key Stone in my hand. This tiny thing holds all that power? I took the Key Stone's charcoal colored band from the case, and fitted the Key Stone in its slot. The reflection of light in the stone winked at me as I inspected it.

"The band's a little plain isn't it?"

"Well I wasn't sure what you wanted so I when with the minimalist look."

"Oh, almost forgot these," the professor kneeled down to open a big crate at his feet. "Here are the... what would you call it? Well, lets just call them neck items that your pokemon will wear." Inside the crate were 2 silver bands the size of a Charizard's neck, and 2 golden necklaces. The 2 silver bands both had flame decals one red and one blue. One of the necklaces was in the shape of a flame and the other was in the shape of a snowflake.

I sent out my pokemon. Flare(charizard♂), Spicy(charizard♀), Tundra(Abomasnow♂), and Jeff(Blaziken♂[jk it's Wildfire]) materialized in front of me.

I gave Flare, Spicy, Tundra, and Wildfire their respective neck bands, and returned them to there pokeballs.

"Dan, I want you to travel the world and learn more about mega evolution and fusion. Start where ever you like but call me when you get there."

"Thank you for this opportunity, Professor."

"Your welcome, now get going!"

I ran out the front door with a huge smile on my face. I sent out Flare. "Let's got to Sinnoh first! But if we want to get there for lunch we have to leave now and fast. You know what that means." Flare nodded his head. "Ok, you ready."

"Flare! Combine our hearts and mega evolve!" Tendrils of light connected between us. Flare became engulfed in light filled with rainbow brilliance. He started to change and became Mega Charizard Y. I climbed on his back.

"Ok Flare to Sinnoh!" Flare's powerful wings threw us into the sky and sped us away towards Sinnoh. My screams of excitement were swept behind us.

This is going to be the best journey EVER.
