it was now the following monday, and awsten was in his first period. their teacher told him that they were doing a group project so cass and practically forced jawn and awsten to be in a group with her. awsten has purposefully sat as far away from jawn as possible. "awsten, are you okay?" cass asked, noticing how far away awsten was sitting. "uh, my boyfriend isnt too fond of jawn." awsten said. "why?" cass asked. "because jawn kissed me. and told me that he liked me. and patty, my boyfriend, knows about it." awsten told her.
"what?!" cass practically yelled. "shut up!" jawn said, blushing bright red in embarrassment. "yeah. it happened, okay? leave me alone." jawn muttered. "yeah." awsten said. "yikes, thats awkward." cass said. "lets just do this project." awsten said. it was now lunch and they were outside. awsten has told patty to come, mostly because awsten forgot to get lunch, but also because it had gotten very awkward between him and jawn. patty showed up and awsten's mood immediately raised. awsten kissed him as soon as he came over.
"hi, my love." patty said. "hi." awsten said, smiling up at him. "i missed my boy." awsten added. "im your boy?" patty asked. "of course you are." awsten said, kissing him again. "aw. and you, mine." patty said. awsten smiled brightly and hugged him. patty glanced at jawn, who was standing behind awsten. jawn looked heartbroken. "i love you, pat."awsten said. jawn looked even more hurt. "i love you too, bub." patty said and kissed him again.
"i brought you food, by the way." patty said. "oh my god, im fucking in love with you." awsten said. patty handed him the bag of food. "i want to marry you. will you marry me?" awsten said. "while i would love to and totally would.." patty said. "wait, deadass. you'd marry me?" awsten asked. "yeah, of course i would. i would be honoured to marry you, bub." patty said. "and before you ask, once you finish school. once you do, ill propose, love. at your graduation or something."
awsten smiled at him. "i fucking love you. im actually, totally, completely, in love with you." awsten said, and kissed him. "im in with love you too." patty said. "hey, guys?" cass asked. "yeah?" awsten said. "can you stop with all the marriage and love stuff for a while, jawns right here." she said. "oh my fucking god! literally i dont give a fuck. so, jawns here? good. if i want to tell my fucking boyfriend that i love him, im fucking going to." patty said. "im just gonna fucking go. awsten, normally i wouldnt endorse skipping but if you want to come home with me, you can." patty said and walked to the car. "bye, i guess. im off to have some angry sex!" awsten said, and followed patty to the car, waving to them as he walked away.
