Kiku was sitting in the corner of his dim japanese room with his own shadow smirking down at his quivering body.

"You baka, no one is actually your friend." The shadow said, gripping harshly at Kiku's stinging head. "They just want your ideas and sell it as their own. First being friendly then the next they betray you. Look at Feli-chan, he likes Ludwig more than you and Yao- san hits you with a wok." He kicked his stomach, causing him to hold is stomach in pain and fell. "Hurts doesn't it? Just like your friendship."

Kiku laid on the bamboo floor, helplessly, and with tears threatening to fall.

The shadow grinned darkly as he swiftly grabbed Kiku's katana. He eyed Japan at his weak state.

"You always cover your depression with a stoic face. Always cover your emotions with a deadpanned voice. It's annoying. Why?" The shadow knelt down and sadistically smiled.

But he did not wait for his answer as he stood back up and slid his for finger across the blade. The crimson blood seeped out.

"Oh. I know! Is it because you always wonder if anyone will notice if your gone. If you disappeared like that baka Matthew. Well let's find out!"

The scornful shadow lunged the blood hungry knife to Kiku's's heart but only impaled his raised hands.

"S-stop..." He managed to breathed out. The shadow lets go of the knife. Kiki got to his knees and pulled the soaked knife out. He clenched his teeth to hold back the pain.

"Y-you're w-wrong." He stated and stared deeply at his intimidated shadow who tried to hide it with a smug look. "T-they care a-about me." He smiled a little but it was warm enough to grow flowers in winter. He started to reminisce of when Feliciano and Ludwig visited and when he stayed at Alfred's place. The aching began to feel numb as Japan returned to a dangerously solemn face.

"It's been you who as caused my sadness, the one who cause me to lose my ability to show emotions. And I will end my misery NOW!!"

Kiki threw the bloodied knife at the shadow's chest area. While the shadow screamed in pain, the male grabbed his katana from the wall and sliced him in half. The shadow disintegrated to beautiful pink cherry blossoms that surrounded the man who was on his knees, his katana vertical from him. They softly fall as Kiku sweetly smiled.

The dark room seemed to be sweeter and brighter as if the weight of dilemmas had been washed out.
