The next day at school she's feeling better than the day before.
Even cracked a couple smiles as she walked the corridor.
But all that seemed to end: she dropped her books when she walked into class.
And every student in the room just seemed to point and laugh.

She couldn't take it anymore, she sent her boy a text.
She said, "I love you with my body, heart and soul to death."
He thought nothing, typed, "I love you", then he sent it.
By "death" he didn't know that she had literally just meant it.

She ducked the next class, ran home into her bathroom.
Thought to herself she wouldn't break her promise that soon.
Not one cut, not two cuts, not three cuts, it's four
The blood just started dripping from the tub to the floor.

See her boyfriend had a feeling in his stomach that he hated.
He followed it right down to her house he never waited.
The front door was open, he heard the water running.
He stormed into the bathroom and his heart just started gunning

'Cause nobody seems to get you, you feel you're on your own,
But listen, pretty lady, you don't have to be alone.
So, baby, don't cut, baby, don't cut.
You can do anything, just promise, baby, yeah.

I know your heart is hurting, you think the road has end,
You may just feel that blade you're holding is your only friend.
Baby, don't cut, baby, don't cut.
You can do anything, just promise, baby, you won't cut.

Raven had felt so much better after her talk with Beast boy. Not only had he proven to her that she wasn't alone, but he also had shown her he loved her. Nobody had ever done that for her... to her. Everyone either hated her or feared her.

Raven had her head held high and a small smile upon her face. She joined the team for breakfast, which was a change that no one had ever seen coming. Raven felt like an entirely new person. This became even more apparent when she began helping around the Tower.

She would join Cyborg in the garage to modify and upgrade the T-car. She would spar with Robin and help him keep an eye on the police blotter for any criminal activity. Organizing her boyfriend's room was no chore at all for the sorceress, no matter how much the shape shifter protested. Raven even joined Starfire when it was time to restock the kitchen or just go on a "girls only" trip to the mall.

It wasn't until Raven had to go out on her own that the negativity in the world really got to her. She was out for a regularly scheduled patrol of the city when it happened. Raven was walking through the park, stopping every now and then to greet some fans and sign photos. Nothing any of the other Titans wouldn't do.

Raven was passing by a group of teens when she heard it. The one word that seemed to follow her no matter what dimension she was in.

"Witch"

It didn't stop there. The judgement kept on coming as it revived every self-conscious feeling she had ever felt.

"Freak"

"Creep"

"Demon"

It all became too much for Raven to bare. She pulled out her communicator and sent Beast boy a message.

I love you, BB. I love you with all I am. All I was. All I will be. I love you to death.

Beast boy, thinking this was another one of Raven's random emotional outbursts that she had been having, calmly replied to her message.

I love you too, Rae-Rae

Raven quickly teleported to her room and ran to her dresser, tears streaming down her face. She retrieved the swiss army knife she was given by Cyborg for Christmas and ran into her bathroom. The words kept running through her mind as she lock her bathroom door and barricaded it. Raven opened the knife and stared at it, as if she didn't know what it was.

Raven turned on her shower to drown out the sound of her sobs and slowly drew the blade along her skin. One cut for each of her insecurities. Each deeper then any of her previous ones.

One cut.... Witch.

Two cuts..... Freak.

Three cuts.... Creep.

Four cuts... Demon.

Blood quickly trickled down her arms and onto the floor. The crimson liquid bright against the tiled floor. The thick smell of iron almost diluted by the steam but strong enough for Beast boy to caught it from the common room. At first, he didn't know what it was. The Beast within him was going absolutely nuts. Realization hit him like a truck and he bolted for his girlfriend's room, with 3 concerned team members right behind him.

Beast boy ignored their questions as he pounded on Raven's door. After not answering her door for the 3rd time, he turned into a gorilla and tore the door off its hinges. The smell was stronger then ever now that the team was in Raven's room. Everyone could smell it.

Beast boy didn't even knock. He busted into Raven bathroom, curtesy of the Beast, and sank to his knees. The sight put the entire team in shock. There in the middle of the room laying in a pool of her own blood was their beloved teammate.....
