CHAPTER ONE: My POV
I looked down at Louis' feet. My stomach twisted and turned as I tried to even imagine another year, maybe even more, without seeing Louis Tomlinson. I looked back into his eyes, tears coming to my own as I saw the sad but composed face of the one I loved. But he didn't know of my love for him. He doesn't know of how long I've waited to tell him, and as I had the usual argument in my head, I thought of how many chances I'll get. "Well, I guess I should go now." Louis said, looking as if he wanted to leave but at the same time looking homesick. Which I'm sure he was. He had to say goodbye to his family at his house. I was the only friend who could come, and really his only true friend (besides the other mates of One Direction). I started to lose it then and started crying "Text me every day?" I said between sobs. Louis hugged me and whispered in my ear"Every day, Ollie." I watched him walk away and join the boys in boarding their plane to America. Every tour agonizing but striking with pride. As I walked out of the airport, I took out the tissues I knew I would need from my pocket and tried to fix my mascara.
CHAPTER TWO: Louis' POV
I tried to hide back my tears as I walked to the boys. Harry walked over to me "Hey!" he said as he dropped his arm around my shoulder. " Did you tell Ollie this time?" I sighed. I knew that was coming. I've been trying since my X-Factor audition and still haven't told her. But she didn't even like me back, so what was the use? "No, and I don't even want to,why bother?" I said in frustration as I shrugged Harry's hand off my shoulder. He should know by now how upset this topic gets me. We got on the plane, the boys each giving me a look of confusion. I'm the first to get on, so I just sit anywhere on the private plane we have. Niall ends up sitting next to me, Harry thinking I'm annoyed at him. Niall looks at me, sympathetic almost "You know I know it's heard confessing something and not knowing the other persons reaction. I get it. I've been single for a while and, I guess I haven't found my princess yet. But you have. I can tell." he pats my shoulder, finished with his little speech. "So you think I should tell her?" I asked. "Don't want her to be the one that got away would you?" all of a sudden Liam starts singing Katy Perry's 'The one that got away' followed by Harry, Andy, Josh, and Zayn. I lay my head back on the seat. It's gonna be a long flight, I think to myself.
CHAPTER THREE: My POV
"LISTENING TO HIS MUSIC WON'T HELP!" called my mother from my room. I turned off the song 'Moments' and came downstairs. "What am I supposed to do?" I said as I sat down in my dining room. My mom is as sweet as can be and is patient with me. She was in the kitchen, making flan for me (It's my favorite dessert and she knows how sad I get). I looked at my split ends. Maybe I'll get a haircut to surprise Louis when he gets back. "So, what was your excuse this time?" my mom said. She knows how much I love him and approves him 100%. But she gets annoyed when I don't go for it and tell him. "Couldn't bring the words out." I sighed. I was getting impatient with this cycle myself. "When will you tell him?" she asked. "When I find the will to work up to it." I replied. She sighed and I walked back to my room. My room is average size. Posters of One Direction throughout, but always in a group. When Louis saw my room he was freaked out enough. "Good god! Don't you see enough of us already?" at the time, all I could do was blush. I lived in Doncaster, but me and Louis met through our dads. They were longtime friends and we were introduced to each when we were 12 at a football party our dads were having. We talked awkwardly at first, but we exchanged numbers anyway. We soon found ourselves calling once a week, and it was the best times of my life. I realized I loved him when I was about 15, falling far too deep and quickly. But I couldn't help it. I supported his singing throughout our friendship, cheering at X-Factor, becoming friends with the boys as well, and so on. I can't stop thinking about him. Just then I get a text from Louis. I drop the phone. Louis has a girlfriend.
CHAPTER FOUR: Louis' POV
I looked down at the ridiculous lie I just sent. "Are you sure it'll work?" I asked Harry and Zayn. "Yes" Zayn replied. "If she loves you, she'll get jealous. And if she gets jealous and you notice, which you will, then you'll know she likes you and be able to go for it." I tried to hide my excitement. The thought of her liking me was absolutely unbelievable. And breathtaking. "But did I put the right text? Does it seem suspicious?" "No, you wrote you had a girlfriend for a month and you're sorry you didn't tell her beforehand. Perfect." I looked anxiously at the phone, just wanting a reply back already.
