You were a reporter lucky enough to land an interview with Shouta Aoi late in the day. The article was going to be about the difficulties being an idol and Shouta had requested no one else be present. And so as you stood in front of his door alone with only the necessary materials, you were a ball of nerves. You hadn't been a reporter long enough to feel calm. It didn't help that you loved his music either. Slowly you reached for the doorbell and as soon as you pressed in the door flew open. You took a step back.

"Come in!" The 31 year old happily greeted. You slowly walked inside as he closed the door behind you. "Have a seat, I'll make some tea." He chirped before wandering into the kitchen, leaving you by yourself. "There are some pink slippers by the door that you can use!" He called from the other room. Your voice wouldn't seem to come out so you just put the slippers on a sat down.

"Um thank you for yor hospitality Aoi-san." You called back to him. Seconds later he appeared with a tray of tea.

"Aoi-san? That's too formal, Shouta. What's your name?" He curiously peered at you after putting the tray down. His head now tilted to the side the same way his character Ai Mikaze does.

"Me? I'm (Y/N)."

"Wah (Y/N)-chan, that's a pretty name!" He giggled and smiled at you.

"Not to be rude but why are you so happy?" The words suddenly left your mouth and from the look on his face you realized you should have stayed quiet. He frowned and looked hurt. You felt bad for saying anything.

"I wanted to make sure you felt comfortable. Did it not work?" He looked away, his frown deeper than before. You almost thought his lip was trembling.

"No that's not what I meant!" You were so fired now, goodbye job, it was nice knowing you. "I just meant that you seemed very comfortable and relaxed for an interview. I do feel much more comfortable" You relaxed greatly when you saw his eyes sparkle as he looked at you.

"You do? Did it help to not have a bunch of other people around like I thought?" He looked at you expectantly.

"To be honest, it made me a tiny bit more nervous but at least now no one will pester me to do my job better." You giggled slightly at his cuteness and happiness. Shouta was grinning at you, he looked like he was about to explode from the emotion.

"When I heard you were new I wanted to try and get you an interview with me. I wanted to make sure you felt comfortable with your job." You were taken aback at his kindness. And here you thought someone else arranged everything.

"That's very kind of you, Aoi-san."

"Shouta." He grinned again and poured some tea.

"Well we should probably get to the actual interview part." Shouta sat across from you during the interview. The entire time he answered questions then reassured you that you were doing well. By the time the interview was over it was pretty late.

"Nee why don't you stay for dinner? It's pretty late already and I heard it's supposed to storm soon. I don't want you to get caught in the rain." Shouta offered, standing up with the tray of now finished tea.

"I don't want to impose on you. After all, being out when it's like that is part of the job description." You smiled before gathering your things.

"Thank you for coming!" Shouta saw you to the door and as soon as the door was open you could see the rain pouring down. There was so much that even the street light's glow was hidden.

"Is the offer to stay for dinner still in effect?" You asked nervously. "Getting soaked was not part of my plan today."

Shouta smiled and closed the door. "Of course, I don't want to leave anyone in the rain. Especially not today." You thanked him and put your things down again. "You can wear the same slippers from before, do you want anything specific for dinner?"
