Jinyoung smiled down at his phone, his eyes rereading the text message that Youngjae recently sent him. He was waiting for so long to see Youngjae again. He always listened to his sound clouds and imagined what his voice would sound like in person. He could imagine the way his lips would move to the words of the song and how—

"Jinyoung!"

Jinyoung jumped, looking up to where the voice had come from. His eyes met with Yugyeom's, a smirk planted on his face.

"What are you thinking about?" Yugyeom noticed the small blush on Jinyoung's cheeks and how he always cleared his throat whenever he was embarrassed. Yugyeom always noticed little things Jinyoung did ever since they met Youngjae and he was interested by it. "Perhaps... was it Yo—"

"We're here!" The driver spoke aloud, smiling at the two members in the mirror.

Yugyeom sighed, looking at Jinyoung as they both thanked the driver and got out of the van. Both of them put a mask and a cap on as they made their way into the school.

Jinyoung scanned his surroundings, looking at the different classrooms and windows, the people who were laughing and smiling. It reminded him a lot of his old school. Except, he wished Youngjae went to the same school as him.

"Okay... Yugyeom, can you call Youngjae for me?" Jinyoung spoke quietly, still looking around for the cutest sunshine in the entire world.

Yugyeom called, but there was no answer.

"He's not answering, maybe he's in class or something—" Yugyeom got cut off by a angry but shaky voice.

"What do you want?"

Jinyoung and Yugyeom looked at each other, making them quickly run towards the sound. They turned around the corner, seeing Youngjae and a female figure standing in front of stairs on the side of the school.

"Should we....." Yugyeom trailed off, turning to his side noticing that Jinyoung had left already.

Youngjae looked down, taking a deep breath before looking back up. "You're wasting your time, so if you would excuse me."

Youngjae felt a sharp pain on his cheek, his eyes becoming watery by the impact.

"Don't you dare walk away from me when I have not finished yet! Now give it to me! Now!" The female voice yelled at him, trying to take his bag off of his back with force.

"Hey!" Jinyoung shouted from afar, running towards this crazy woman whose attacking his sunshine.

The woman turned around, her eyes widening in shock at the sight of Jinyoung. She immediately let go of Youngjae, who was currently crying silently. Jinyoung looked at Youngjae, a frown appearing on his face but he needed to stop her.

"What do you think you're doing??" Jinyoung angrily spoke, snatching the bag out of her hands and holding it close to him.

The woman placed her hair behind her ear, fixing her outfit a bit as if to impress the man in front of her. "We were just having a little fun, isn't that right, Youngjae?" She went to put her arm around his shoulder when Jinyoung stopped her. Jinyoung pulled Youngjae towards him, his arm wrapped securely around him.

"You think punching someone in the face and tugging their bag is fun?" His tone was angry and his voice became louder.

"Well..." She looked down, tapping her shoes against the concrete.

"Never do that again. If I hear or see that you hurt Youngjae again—" Jinyoung paused, feeling slightly protective of the younger boy in his arms.

"Then you'll have to deal with us." Yugyeom walked in on the scene, taking Youngjae's bag and putting it over his shoulder. "Come on, let's go."

The three walked away from the woman as she looked at Youngjae in shock.

"How the hell did he become close with them?" She snickered, walking away from the building and back into her car.

Jinyoung kept pestering to take Youngjae back to their dorm room, as he wanted to get this cut healed quickly. That and because he wanted to stay with Youngjae for longer. He frowned, Youngjae hasn't said a word ever since that incident and he has been avoiding eye contact with anyone. Jinyoung had many thoughts in his head such as, Who was that woman? What did she want? Why was she so aggressive and rude towards Youngjae? His anger continued to build up. Youngjae noticed this, as he looked up for the first time ever since they entered the van. He noticed Jinyoung staring straight ahead with his eyebrows together. His fist clenching tightly on his lap.

Out of instinct, Youngjae's hand made its way over to Jinyoung's fist. His soft hands gently touching Jinyoung's causing Jinyoung to calm down. His eyes looked over to Youngjae's, seeing a small smile on his face as he continued looking out the window.

Once they got inside, Jackson immediately noticed Youngjae.

"Youngjae-ah!! You finally decided to come here~" Jackson ran and hugged Youngjae, a natural thing he did. Youngjae smiled, hugging him back. Jinyoung stood there awkwardly before walking away to find the cleaning materials for cuts and such.

The members noticed the cut on Youngjae's face, but they could tell Youngjae didn't want to mention it. They had small talk with him for a bit until Jinyoung came back into the room.

"Um... Youngjae?" He didn't know why he was getting so nervous just saying his name. He didn't feel nervous at all when he was telling the girl off but now, his heart is beating like crazy. Jinyoung pointed to his cheek, noting Youngjae about the cut he had. Youngjae nodded, standing up as he waved to the members, following Jinyoung into the bathroom.

Jinyoung kneeled down, putting the disinfectant on the cut whilst Youngjae sat on the toilet lid. (Why does that sound so weird...? ANYWAYS CONTINUING ON~)

"Ow..." Youngjae winced in pain, his face scrunching up a little as Jinyoung's face filled with worry.

"I'm sorry! It'll be over soon, I promise." Jinyoung smiled a little, his eyes still showing concern whilst he continued putting the disinfectant on his cut.

Youngjae couldn't help but admire Jinyoung from up close. Noticing how his eyes always met Youngjae's whenever he saw his face scrunch up. How his tongue would occasionally come out when he focused on the cut. Little things like that made him so perfect and made Youngjae fall for him even more than he did before.

"Thank you... for helping me back at my school and now. It really means a lot." Youngjae whispered, his hands fiddling with each other, he habit he does when he's nervous.

"No need to thank me. As long as you're okay, then that's all that matters." Jinyoung and Youngjae's eyes met. The small space between both of their faces made both of their hearts go crazy. Jinyoung looked at Youngjae's lips then made their way back at his eyes again. He swallowed, slowly leaning in....
