Chapter 1

Nia's pov:
"Jeon jungkook!!!!" , I yelled happily as i watched him perform at their live concert(well not so live😂), it was a live stream on YouTube, I was at my usual concert on my laptop.

I smiled sweetly and looked dreamily at my laptop screen as i watched the rest of the performance, I was snapped out of my trance as i heard a loud bang on my door, *My headphones are on again, mum's gonna kill me* I thought to myself as i took off the headphones, my heart thumped so fast as i walked to the door,

"kay!", My mum yelled from outside still banging the door, I knelt in front of my door as i unlocked it and stared at my fuming mum with the cutest puppy eyes I could put on, but all i felt next was a tap on my cheek as she drifted past me into my room, luckily I had hidden my gadgets underneath my bed, I got up and turned around to a still angry mum,

"why did you yell???" , she asked with a worried expression on her face, "I was just...ummmm", I paused thinking of my best excuse, "ummm what?", she asked with a confused look, "just ummm....practicing my singing again", I said hurriedly as i kicked my slightly sticking out laptop back under my bed with a wide grin on my face, unlucky for me, my mum is always aware of all my movements, she bent over and reached for my laptop

*snap* i thought as i shut my eyes tight in disappointment, "singing huh?" She said as she stood in front of me with my laptop and my headphones which were still plugged into the laptop, "mum, I can explain", I said as i moved closer to her,

"Nope!" She yelled before I could say any more, "No explanations this time, i'll be taking this" she said gesturing my laptop towards me, I could hear the encore of euphoria as she walked past me, *the laptop was still streaming*

I thought as i face palmed myself, my mum cleared her throat signalling me back to reality, I turned around to see her smiling "it'll just be a few days, next time you'll remember you're living with people and not just yourself, then you'll learn to tune down your volume a bit or better still just play it out" she giggled and started singing along to fake love(yes, she's a mega ARMY herself😩),

I dropped to the floor and started throwing a silent tantrum, I ruffled my hair and squealed, not so loud tho, then it hit me, I still had my phone and tablet, but then the performance was still streaming on the laptop, if I were to stream on my tab as well, I'm pretty sure my data sub will finish in a few minutes but I didn't care i was ready to sacrifice it all for BTS!,

I got my tab and just as i was about to turn it on, i heard both my mum and sister squealing, I placed my tablet back on top of my dresser and ran out of my room leaving my door wide open, I ran as fast as i could to the door of my mum's room and pressed my ear to it, I could hear Taehyung's singularity performance and my sister's muffled screaming that was when I burst into the room,

"Aha!" I yelled startling my sister, but my mum was still glued to the screen of my laptop and her smile was so wide I'm pretty sure if the edge of her mouth could touch her ears it will, my sister gestured for me to lay down next to her but I made a sign towards my mum and pouted, she just giggled and tapped my mum bringing her back to reality, "mummy, can kay join us?" She asked with the cutest look on her face

Note: ( kay is a name my mum, sis and close friends in Nigeria call me, it's short from kemi, my Nigerian name is Kemi and so my mum decided to call me kay because she always yelled my name a lot and she didn't like yelling my full name so loud , neither did she like yelling my sister's full name, so she called her may, from mayowa)

"Sure, she can" my mum said as she looked towards my direction, with the sweetest smile and gestured for me to stay next to her instead, I jumped right beside her and so it was my mum in the middle of both of us, we all giggled at the same time and my sis and I rested on each side of my mum's shoulder as we enjoyed the rest of the live but not so live concert.
