YOU BELONG WITH ME • CHAPTER 3

***Dillon's P.O.V.***

My mom was in labor now for seven hours. My poor father was constantly pacing and occasionally going in when the doctors allowed him, for the arrival of my little brother.

I waited in the waiting room and thank God they had Wifi! The girls had introduced me to this new instant messaging thing. I even found my friend Merideth from Florida and got back in touch!

A little bubbly-popping noise in my ear phones over blasting music would come every second from the many conversations I had going.

Volleyball_Payne19: Sooo, are you a big sister yet?

DANCE_4_LIFE: Nope.

Another ding.

Blythey-Boo52: Mason out and about yet? What's the scoop?

DANCE_4_LIFE: Nope. Dad's still pacing... the whole deal. Really stressed.

And yet another ring. We had befriended another new kid to the block and my cousin, Selena, who now lives presently two blocks away from Roslyn. There's this thing about her...really a tiny glitch. She's like obsessed with Superheros.

SUPERWOMANSEL: Heyyyy do I have another cuz yet or what?

You can guess my answer, right off the bat. The cutesy rings started to cease as the night went on. Around 8:30, my headphones blooped again.

ZAIN_MALIK: Ello Penelope. :)

DANCE_4_LIFE: Who's Penelope? This is...Dillon.

ZAIN_MALIK: Oh! I'm so sorry! You're both blondes and she looks like your profile picture and she dances but i think she spelled her username wrong on the paper. Sorry wrong number? :D

DANCE_4_LIFE: No! You're fine! Don't worry about it!

I glanced at his picture: tan, he looked strong, and cole black hair. Slits were shaved into his eyebrows. Cute.

I added onto my message 'you're pretty cute.'

ZAIN_MALIK: Thanx. You are too. I'm from Bradford. U?

DANCE_4_LIFE: I have to get to know you better before I go posting my adress all over the web. Maybe we can chat more often Mr. Malik.

ZAIN_MALIK: Sure :D

My dad was pushed in to my mother's room. I heard a few screams, then he ran out. I closed my laptop and put it on the chair next to me right before he picked me up and spun me around.

"It's a boy! It's a boy! Oh it's just what we wanted Dill!"

I giggled along as I gathered my things and was escorted in to see my mom.

And my new baby brother: Mason Taylor Chase.
