shu and emily

Untitled Part 2

from shu's point of view

i hope Emily will be at school tomorrow i thought to myself as i fell asleep for the night

time-skip to first period at school the next day

me: where is she class is about to start soon

then the classroom door opened and i saw Emily walk in

me: Emily!! over here 

she didn't respond when i called for her and i noticed she looked a bit upset and i went over to her

me: hey wanna go up to the roof the teacher will let you if you ask her 

Emily: s-sure

we told the teacher and i went with Emily up to the roof and opened the door for her and we walked through them and i closed the door and when i turned around i saw Emily in tears and then i went over to her and hugged her and she cried in my arms then we separated then we went over to the bench on the roof  

me: emily what's going on what's wrong you can trust me

Emily: somebody mugged me and my mom last night 

she cried harder after she told me what happened

me: Emily tell me how this happened if you can 

Emily: we were on our way home from dinner last night and this guy came up to us and made my mom hand over her purse and she said no then he attacked us i got cut up a bit and my mom did a lot worse than me she is in the hospital right now and we both spent the night there i got only an hour of sleep because i sat in a chair all night long and my mom is in a coma from what happened

i hugged Emily and she hugged me back and she fell asleep in my arms so i decided to take her back to my apartment and let her sleep there and i told the principal we would be going home and he let us leave and i took her back to my place and let her have my bed then i called the hospital to check on her mom and they said she was in a coma from last night's mugging and i didn't know how i was gonna tell her about this i knew she was gonna cry again and i didn't want her to go through this i feel a connection with her since the minute i saw her she is different than the other girls  she didn't fangirl at me like every other girl at this school.

a few hours later and rina was still asleep so i decided to make her some food for when she woke up and it should help ease her when i tell her about her mom. a few more hours i went to check on her and she was out cold still then a few minutes after i went to the kitchen she came out of my room and i went over to her and hugged her

Emily: shu thanks for all of this i should go and see my mom after a while see if she is alright and i hope she can come home from the hospital they said she can come home today 

me: um em i have some bad news about her she is in a coma i called and checked on her im so sorry 

she fainted right then and there and i caught her and took her back to my bed and sat with her until she woke up. a few hours later she woke up 

Emily: what happened 

me: you're awake how do you feel

Emily: a bit dizzy the room is spinning did you tell me something earlier shu? something about my mother?

me: yes rina she is in a coma im so sorry 

Emily: dear god i have to see her now the room finally stopped spinning can i stay with you until she comes home 

me: of course i have something i need to ask you first 

Emily: what is it shu 

me: um will you be my girlfriend? ive liked you for a bit now ever since i met you 

Emily: of course shu ive felt the same way this whole time

i hugged her and she hugged me back and we headed to the hospital. when we got there i held her hand and she held mine back and we walked in and went to the receptionist desk

Emily: im here to see my mother judith anne black i'm her daughter and this is my boyfriend shu 

receptionist: yes dear you may both go and see her 

we went to her mom's room and stood right outside the door she was stiff as a statue

me: Emily hey its alright just breathe its gonna be alright im right here 

i saw tears in her eyes and she walked in and saw her mother laying there with a sheet covering her entire body and she knew what that meant

Emily: mom no please 

she fell on her knees and when i went to her she just ran off crying 

me: Emily wait please 

i ran after my girlfriend and tried to find her and i did at the hospital garden and i went over to her and hugged her

Emily: its not fair she shouldn't be gone she cant be gone she cant be

me: just let it out em im right here 

she cried and cried then she passed out in my arms and i just took her home back to my apartment and laid her down in my bed she had been through a lot lately and i called the school to let them know about her mom and we would be taking a leave of absence for a couple weeks 

time skip to the funeral 

we called everyone in Emily's family and her mom's friends and we had her mom's funeral and Emily cried a lot during the day and even at the burial and then we went home after the burial and i made Emily some food but she didn't eat 

me: em you gotta eat something 

she got up and walked out the door i know she is suffering 

to Emily's point of view

i walked out the front door and went for a long walk i needed it big time right now i lost the only family member left i still remember the day my dad left us even though i was really young i was like 4 but that memory will be in my mind for the rest of my life and as i was walking i noticed i was by the river and i sat down by a tree and just stared off zoning out and having flashbacks of my mom still alive and i cried even more than i did earlier today and everything went black.
