It was finally the day we got to leave for London. This was really exciting, as neither Mary or myself had ever been out of the country. We still get to come back and visit family once a month, which I was glad about.

Our flight left at 3.30am, so we got to the airport around 1:30. Mary's (delightfully gay) parents, Jack and Alex dropped us off at the airport, "bye mama and papa" she said, she called Jack mama, even though it annoyed him. "Bye, Mary be safe in London." Alex said, tearing up. "Yeah, yeah, Papa" Mary said in a mocking tone. "Don't have sex" Jack said. "Mama please!" Mary said closing the car door. We laughed and they slowly drove off.

At 3:30 we were called to board the plane and we set off for a nearly 8 hour flight to London

~8 hours later~

As soon as we got off the plane we just wanted to get to our apartment and go to sleep. We took a cab to our apartment building, which looked really nice from the outside, but quite creepy and old on the inside. But it still seemed like a lovely place to live for now.

As soon as we got up to our apartment, 182 D, we went to sleep, we would unpack and all in the morning.

The next morning both Mary and I both woke up with pounding headaches, which we assumed was from flying or something, but it didn't pass all day. This made unpacking and everything even more miserable, but as soon as we were done we just laid back and watched a movie.

But other than that, I think I was going to like it here. The apartment was really big inside, we had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, kitchen and small dining room, and it had a reasonable rent. I could definitely get used to this place!
