Chapter 5

Aria's P.O.V*

It's been a month since Taila has helped me train. She said that it wouldn't take me too long because I've already been experienced with fighting. Now she thinks that I'm ready to go with her "on the ground" is what she calls it.

Selina and I stay low behind a building
As Taila and Barbra distract the driver of the truck that Selina and I are gonna steal from.
"Come on, let's go" Selina exclaims
I look at her confused, "but Taila didn't give us the sign"
She rolls her eyes, "we don't need to lessen to her all the time" she complains.
"Fine" I sigh and follow her lead.

She grabs the lock hastily and groans. "Shit!"
"I got this" I say and bring out my lock picking tool and fiddle with the lock, eventually making it come undone. "Did Bruce teach ya that?" She asks. I nod my head yes and slowly start to open the back of the truck.
"You never talked about what happened to you guys" she says as both of us get into the back and turn on our flashlights.
I chuckle, "it's not worth talking about"
She gasps and runs to the back where the weapons are placed.

"Hey! Who's back here!" Someone screams into the back. Selina and I stare at each other.
"Fuck" I mutter. The truck shakes as footsteps became clear, signaling that he was now in the back with us. I put my hands in front of me in fists as Selina does the same, ready for whatever happens. "What the hell!?" He exclaims once he notices that we're just teenage girls.

Once I see his face I give him a cross punch making him stumble back. I kick his legs with all my force making him fall onto the ground. "Let's go" I scream and run out of the truck with Selina behind me.
As we jump down Taila already starts yelling at me.
"Damnit! I knew you weren't ready! I told you to wait for my signal!" She yells, bringing her hand up to slap me. I didn't move a muscle, "stop!" Selina cries. "She would've wait for me but I told her that we should go"
Taila rubs her temple, upset. "At least you knocked out the guy Selina"
She smirks, "that was Aria"

Bruce's P.O.V*
I notice the girl that was talking to Taila look familiar. I pull out my binoculars to get a better look. It was Selina. Next to her was... Aria?
I press my finger against my earpiece. "Alfred, it's her..Aria. What do I do now?" I say uncertain.
"Go to her as her boyfriend Bruce, bloody hell!" He yells. I sigh and turn off the ear piece.
I take a deep breath and walk out of the hiding spot. "Aria" I call.

All for of them look at me, Taila and Barbra point their guns at me, I throw my arms up, "woah, I just wanna talk to my girlfriend"
They both look at Selina, I scrunch up my face repelling the idea, "Are you serious" Taila scolds her. "God no! Aria is Bruce's lover, not me!" She exclaims annoyed that Taila even considered the thought. Aria steps forward so I can see her face, "no Bruce" she turns around.
"I bet that you don't even know what the do with the weapons after" I State
"Of course I do, they destroy them"

Selina face palms, "you didn't tell her" she mumbles. "Aria, they give the weapons to criminals" I inform. She turns to face me, "no! You're lying!" She shouts.
My face softens, "why would I lie to you?" I ask gently. She faces Taila, "is this true!?" She demands. "Listen young one, we knew you wouldn't have done it if we told you cuz you're a goody two shoes" Barbra spats.
"Look, Aria. We offered that deal because we all knew how skilled you are. Don't let a guy mess it up" Taila stridently says, pointing to me, making Aria glance my way.
"He didn't, you did" she taunts walking in my direction.

A/n: I'm sooo sorry I've been super busy w school and I have finals all next week. Fml :'( I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. I'm really trying to step out of my comfort zone and write some different chapters like this. So please give me feedback it would help a lot! -Teyona
