After The Attack Of Linda...

The whole village were having a small feast with the meat from the Griffins who the knight killed as food for them.

Linda sat beside the knight who was sharpening his sword using a strange stone on which made the witch curious.

Linda:"What kind of stone is that? I've never seen anything like it."

F/n:"It's a combination stone, made from the tooth of a dragon that's been ground into dust and the strongest alloy from the dwarves up east."

Linda:"You killed a dragon for it?"

F/n:"I happen to kill it, it was terrorizing a village near the volcano it lived in."

The witch looked stunned, she just heard from the boy as he casually told her that he killed a dragon of all things.

Linda:"Judging by you attire..you're a knight..of what kingdom?"

Her question made the knight pause from sharpening his blade. The topic seemed to hit a sensitive spot for the knight.

F/n:"That information is forbidden."

He pockets the stone into his satchel and stands up before sheathing his sword into it's scabbard.

F/n:"If you're going to join us for our journey in Strum Guard, I suggest you sleep. Energy is needed, especially from using too much mana earlier."

Linda:"You're right, thank you for the food."

The knight nods.

Linda:"Goodnight."

F/n:"Sleep well."

He leans against a tree and rests his sword against a stone pillar. The knight turns to finally resting village, it made him smile to see them peaceful.

The Next Day....

The village was finally out and away from the Dark Forest. They were relieved that no more should be able to ambush them.

The knight, the village chief and the witch led them all towards the Kingdom of Strum Guard. A kingdom with the passion for research and development.

They could see it's wondrous castles and buildings, where most kingdoms lacked. Strum Guard had the space to build roads large enough for two carriages to move and disciplined citizens that avoid littering, fighting most of all, kind.

Once they entered the kingdom's borders, they wondered why there were no guards to halt them back. The knight took this as a threat as his hand trailed to the hilt of his sword.

F/n:"Something is not right.."

Suddenly, a scream went off as a half-naked woman runs out of an alley that was being chased by an ogre. F/n's eye twitched underneath his helmet before slicing the ogre in half.

The woman opened her eyes to see the male in front of her. She was shaking in fear before some of the villagers of Dianne covered her with a cloak.

F/n:"Tell me..are there anymore ogres running around chasing women?"

Woman:"I-I'm not sure! But..the one you killed came from the research facility..! They kept ogres there for no reason..!"

F/n:"I see...Hex, you're coming with me.."

Linda:"I'll be there."

F/n:"But before that, cast a barrier around every single villager so no ogre will be able to touch them.."

Linda:"I already did."

F/n:"Then let's go. And Dianne.."

He called out to the village chief who turns to face him.

F/n:"Stay safe..tell your villagers to not inhale scent from the ogres.."

She nods before ordering her people to get anything they can use as a weapon.

F/n and Linda hurried as they saw a large crowd of protests outside the research facility. He looks at one of the signs to see:

"No more over hunting of ogres!"
