Once Bitten

Chapter 4

Kyle's POV

I just got off the phone with Mary. She told me she wasn't coming tonight, something about not wanting to play games with me anymore. She said she doesn't want to keep pretending like she doesn't feel anything for me, and until I can give her an answer she won't have sex with me anymore, won't  even hang out.

Of course at every party, if I can't find someone to sleep with, she's my back up plan. So far, I haven't seen anyone worth doing and now Mary says she isn't coming. Now there's like no reason for this party, it sucks. It's safe to say I was already frustrated when I saw Charice standing on the stairs with some short-ass dress on. I run over quickly and knock Megan down ( on purpose), and tell her to go change. Reese comes down the stairs and stands next to Megan. I'm not even paying attention to Reese anymore when I see what Megan is wearing. I know this probably a part of the scheme they were talking about earlier, but I'm confused what the plan is. Maggie looks REALLY good tonight. Not her usual natural beauty, but sexy. Almost like every other female here that I'd have sex with, but a bit more conservative.

She was wearing this sweater like top, that was sort of see through, a short skirt and some boots. Like I said she looked really good. Her hair wasn't in it's usual ponytail. It was curled, and fell halfway down her back. The makeup looked a bit weird on her, but that's just because she looks better without it. Not too many girls have natural beauty these days, but unfortunately she does.

While I was staring and watching Ryan lust after my sister, Reese  had walked away pulling a blushing Megan with her. I doubt anyone noticed the attention I was giving to Megan. Ryan was too busy being distracted by Reese, Reese was busy being angry, and Megan was being Megan, staring at the floor. Besides, I have a pretty good poker face.

Ryan had finally come back to Earth, and was glaring in the girls' direction. I wish he would hurry and ask my sister out. She always dates the biggest losers, though they never stay together for long. Ryan and I make sure of that. Whenever I ask him about it, he tries to play it off but everybody and their parents know Ryan and Reese like each other.

" Ryan, why don't you just ask her out already? You know you want to and it's better than torturing yourself."

He looks shocked, like he always does. " Dude, that's your little sister what are you talking about," he says trying to see the girls. "But...... I don't know how much longer I can watch her be with other guys, knowing they aren't good enough for her."

Now, it's my turn to be shocked. Ryan has never been so honest about his feelings for my sister.

" Why are you still here, anyway? By now, you're ususally off with Mary or some girl."

"Yeah well, Mary isn't coming tonight. And none of these girls do anything for me," I say shrugging my shoulders.

He laughs at me and pats me on the back." You mean the girl that has always had your attention, you can't admit you like her.... and she's taken."

I don't get it, and I guess he could see it on my face. " Man, you are so wrapped up in Maggie. If I'm not mistaken, you were just staring at her with lust clear on your face."

" You're mistaken."

" Why can't you admit you like my sister?"

" She's not your sister."

He just laughs again." Funny how that's the problem you found in that statement."

I laugh with him." Go be a stalker and watch our sisters," I say pushing him away.

After he leaves, I spend my time hanging with guys from the football team. I'm talking with my friend Blake about who got signed to play for what college, when I see Jonathan walk in. I actually expected him to be here earlier because he usually keeps Megan company at these parties. I don't like the guy much, he just.... irritates me. When he comes in, he's smiling all big like he won the lottery. Then, Diane walks in behind him and I realize why he's grinning so hard.
