Everything in my life
seems temporary,
But only a few things in my life remain stationary.
You are just about as constant as the cycle of day and night,
And even though we're apart
our relationship stays tight.
You are my sun and my moon
And when we talk
You make me smile like a baffoon.
I don't know
If you know
How much you really mean to me,
But for the few moments that we talk I feel free.
Thank you
for being a constant in my life.
And not stabbing me in the back with a dull knife.
I've been broken and torn down
But you gave me the
hope and courage to
never back down.
And for that
I say thank you again.
Because without you
my life would be going down a drain.
