Olivia's POV
"Come on baby put your boots on, if you want to go outside and play you need to have shoes on mister". I say excitedly trying to encourage him to do as he's told.
"Mama nooo" he says as he chuckles and runs off down the hallway of our house.
"I'm going to get you, you little monkey" I say and laugh as I chase him.
"Got ya" as I pick my beautiful little boy up in my arms after catching him. He is my absolute life and he makes me a better person every single day. He is two and let me tell you when people talk about terrible twos, it is a genuine thing. He's not naughty just more cheeky than wanted.
"Ahhh mama no, I wanna play" he says as he gives me them signature puppy dog eyes. He reminds me of his dad every single day. Them blue orbs bore into mine as I nearly cave, but holding my ground I pick up his boots and place them on his feet.
"No let's go, auntie Jessie is waiting for you and she will be upset if she doesn't get to see her favourite little man today" I say.
"Ok mama, love auntie Jessie" he says with that beautiful smile on his face.
Hudson Saunders, my beautiful baby boy. I sometimes wonder if what I'm doing is the right thing.... he's never met his dad and I feel like the most horrible person everyday because of it, but the pain of the past has been too much for me. But I've promised him that this will change and very soon. No matter what's happened in the past, he needs his father in his life.
"Come on baby" I say as I grab his hand and head for the front door.

"Hey girl" Jessie shrieks from her doorstep. Jessie literally lives on the other side of the road in the house opposite to ours. Yes it's amazing because we get to see her daily, and if I'm going to be honest, I probably wouldn't be here if it wasn't for her. I owe her everything.
"Jessie Jessie" Hudson screams at her in excitement. I smile at the both of them as Hud launches his small body at her. She picks him up and throws him in the air multiple times, making him giggle.
"Hey J, miss us?" I say giving her a big hug. She returns the gesture and gives me a kiss on the cheek. I love this girl.
"I mean I see you everyday...." Slapping her on the arm I know she is only playing with us. Walking into her house I think to the time we met nearly three years ago. I had just moved here and was all on my own, it was quite funny how we met actually.
I was walking through the entrance of a coffee shop and as she was coming out she spilt her hot coffee all over me. Looking back at it now it was quite the scene....
