Shadow vs Jeff the Killer

Chapter 2- "Who are you?!?"

Hi guys here is the second chapter to "Shadow vs Jeff the killer" hope y'all enjoy it! ^_^

Jaden and Alan eyes were as wide as dinner plates. Had their secret been revealed?

"Jaden, Alan. Calm down guys, I am only messing with you. I know for a fact neither one of you could ever be this Shadow character. You two are no good lousy punks, which is why I brought you in here today."

2 hours went by before the boys were release from the principal's office. The pair started to laugh to themselves thinking they were caught. The last bell rang letting out the classes for the evening. The pair started their long walk home when Jaden spoke up.

"Something doesn't sit well with me."

"About what?" Alan replied.

"I heard that Jeff writes, says, or even yells 'Go to sleep' and yet I don't recall ever seeing anything like that at the house." Jaden said in a train of thought.

"I know it has that creepy story written all over it except he says 'Go to Sleep' not spell it out." Alan answered.

"Then this just got weirder. How are the kids getting this info? It's not like he is real and doing this to the kids." The two looked at each other and gave a chuckle.

"There is no way that could happen, this is the real world." Alan said in a humorous voice.

"Well, stranger things have happen, it is possible a person can go that insane. Look at Batman's villains, The Joker, he is the prime example. Like he said in 'The Killing Joke' it takes one bad day." Alan explained.

"I know, but to make 10 kids go that crazy seems almost impossible. I mean same motive, same means, and hell same weapon." Jaden answered.

The boys went their separate ways as Jaden continued to the park and sit and think about what or if anything he is missing.

"This doesn't make sense. How can someone convince 10 kids to murder their families and write a message in their blood?"

As Jaden thought about it he notice a family laughing and having fun. Both kids were running and playing around as both parents sat on a bench watching them.

"Could it be jealously that drives him or what is it?" Jaden asked himself.

"This doesn't make sense. It just seemed like random killings, little kids acting out a pointless story!" Jaden shouted in his head.

As Jaden put his hands on his face he hear a female voice calling his name.

"Jaden!" the female voice cried.

Jaden looked up to see his oldest dearest friend, Karin Conner. She smiled her beautiful smile at him as he felt his problem just disappear.

"Hi Karin. What are you doing out here?"

"Alan asked if I pop on by to check up on ya. What's going on? He seemed worried about you." She asked in a worried some tone.

"Nothing really, I am just trying to figure something out."

"Like what? If you don't mind?"

"I am stuck, why would someone kill their family?"

"Oh! You mean like that poor little kid?"

"Yeah."

"I don't know. Is that why you are so upset?"

"Yeah, I am just trying to figure out why someone would....huh?"

Jaden and Karin watched as some bullies started to pick on a kid in the middle of the park. They watched as the kids started to push and tease a smaller child. Jaden looked over to see the parents who were not paying attention. He found his fist clinched and ready to strike when he got up and ran over yelling at the kids to get away. He looked at the kid crying and brought him to his parents who were now worried. Jaden turned around and walked toward Karin and said,

"Now, I have my answer."

Jaden walked toward his home with the answer he now had.

"So he is targeting kids who are being bullied. I am on to you, murder."

He walked inside and went to his room where he turned on his computer and began to read 'Go to sleep'. He wanted to know if he was on the right track. He read the story 5 to 20 times. He smiled to himself when he realized there was a connection and he just found it.

"Jeff was bullied by Randy, Keith, and Troy. So this copycat is now targeting bullied kids to go and find peace? What an ass."

He laughed to himself when his door to his room began to open slowly. He turned around in his chair to see a figure with a hood over his face. Jaden yelled,

"What do you want?"

"I came to play, brother" Said the figure.

"I am not in the mood for any games, Paul. Go back to bed." Jaden snapped at his brother.

"But mommy and daddy said we could." Paul replied back.

"Paul, trust me when I say you don't want to do this!" Jaden said cautioning him.

"Why would I need to do that....." the figure lifted his head up revealing his cheeks which had two long cuts.

"PAUL!" he shouted.

His little brother raced toward him but Jaden dropped to the ground and swipe his little brother's feet from underneath him. Jaden got up and pinned his brother down as he yelled.

"MOM! DAD! COME QUICKLY!"

Both parents raced to Jaden's room and saw the face of their little son. An ambulance was called as was the police. Jaden and his parents talked to the officers and gave their statements. After everyone was gone, Jaden went to his little brother's room and started to look for something, if anything. He got down on all fours and looked on the floor for any sign of a break in, but found only nothing. As he looked around he got the feeling he was being watched. He looked outside his little brother's room to find only darkness. Jaden glared in the darkness and shouted.

"I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE, BUT YOU JUST MADE YOUR FIRST MISTAKE!!!"
