It had been years since that moment.  Zenton grew and so did his magic.  Unable to control it his parents dosed him with potions hoping to dull the magic within.  The whispers grew as well. Listening to the whispers Zenton had fun, meeting a girl he left his parents home.  This blue haired sorcerer was evil in nature.  Bending Zenton to her will until she discarded him, moving on to the next source of magic.  Attempting to return to his parents halls Zenton was turned away.  Trying to bury his magic within he got a job working as a standard laborer.  Destroying his body and burning his mind with alcohol and substances known to dull and expand the mind.  After a year of working at many places, hating himself and longing for that girl from his childhood.  The one he only got a small glimpse of.  Finally getting a job working as a cook at a small tavern it happened.  Hearing a door open behind him he glanced over his shoulder and there she was.  About a head shorter than himself she stood there next to the women who owned the building.  Her brownish blond hair was pulled up and held with a thin cord.  Her green shirt hung a little lose on her petite frame.  Her greenish blue eyes sparkled with joy and a black choker was tied around her neck.
'Here is your chance, go to her.' the whispers had turned to shouts in that moment.  Shattering any hope of ignoring them.
"Hi," Zenton stammered to the girl "my name is Zenton.  It's nice to meet you."
"Hey," she said with a tilt of her head and a small wink "I'm Lilith." Walking around the counter and out of the room Zenton took a breath he hadn't realized he was holding.
"Soon." He whispered to himself.  "Soon." Getting back to work he thought about the girl.  About how he could help her and hoping she would be able to help him as well.
