It is Junior year of High School and I am still the same old person. History class with Ms. Haku is always boring. Same old thing every year. "Now what is the Capital of Japan, Heikin?" said Ms. Haku. "Um, yes miss" I say "It is Tokyo, am I right?". "Yes indeed you are right, Heikin" says Ms.Haku.
**After class Ms.Haku takes Heikin to the side**
"Heikin, I know you are smart and all but you need to work on your grades a little more" says Ms. Haku. "Yea, ok" I say softly. "Thats what you say all the time, but you never improve your grade" "You are barely passing my class" says Ms Haku in frustration. "I am tired of your laziness" "You must pay more attention to your work" says Ms Haku. "say what, tomorrow there will be a new girl in the class" "I want you to teach show her around the school and help her with her work". "ok" I say.
I leave the classroom in wonder. Who is this girl, why does she have to make me show her around and help her, is she even so important? Thoughts float around in my head about this new girl that will be arriving tomorrow. Then I think about other things. My head goes in a wonder. Thoughts about the new girl turn into thoughts about anime. I was never able to focus on a single topic, it was always hard for me.
Thoughts that lasted for minutes, lasted for hours. This is the first time I have thought about something for a long time. Suddenly when I snapped out of my thinking, the evening had turned into night. It was time to go to bed. My mom and dad usually aren't home because of work. So most nights I go to sleep starving, but its okay because I have learned to deal with it. Well another day has started to end. Time to sleep and get ready for the next.
