10 years ago. (They are both 7)
"Joshy! Where are you!" I cried. I sat down by a tree and start to cry. He ran off into the woods and i can't find him. I hear leaves crunch and someone lifted up my chin. It was Josh. "Joshy!" I exclaimed. "Hey mads." He says and hugs me. I hug him back and he gets up. "We need to go home." "Okay." We start to walk home and it gets cold. I start to shiver and Josh gives me his hoodie. I slip it on and we join hands. We get to my house and we hug. "See you tomorrow mads." "Bye joshy." I say as he walks off. I go into my house and to my room. I put on pajamas and go down for dinner. "Hey sweetie did you have fun with Josh today?" My mom asks me. "Yeah!" My dad comes down and we all eat dinner. I go to my room and sit on my bed finally falling asleep.
The next day.
I get up and put on some yoga pants, converse and a black tee shirt and joshes hoodie. I go over to the entrance of the forest and wait for Josh. After a while of waiting he finally came. "Sorry I was hanging out with my friend tyler." "Oh okay." We walk in the woods and talk for a while. We sit down by a tree and hold hands. We talk then we hear someone walking around. Josh gets up and the gets scared when his friend tyler walks out "Hey dude!" Josh said and then the two of them walked off. I frowned and tried to follow them but they were to fast. I decide to sit by a tree and wait for Josh to come back. He never did come back though. I got sad and checked my watch. 8:15 i sigh and go back to my house. I skipped dinner and went straight to my room. I started to tear up. I layed down and cried. I got my phone and played some games. I put my phone down and looked out my window into the woods. I see Josh and Tyler playing and running after eachother. I wondered about why they never came back for me. I bet their parents are worried about them. I saw them leave the woods and go home. I here a knock in the front door and i go down to check who was at the door. I saw it was Josh and let him in. We went to my room and talked. He started to lean in but then his phone went off. He said he had to go home and then he left. I layed down and soon fell asleep.
