"But I don't wanna go to school! I wanna stay here with Appa and Daddy!" Taeyong whined, his lips curling into a deep frown as he crossed his arms against his chest and huffed angrily.
Seokjin and Namjoon had enrolled the twins at an elementary school just a week ago, something Namjoon had planned on doing for almost a month. The school was a five minute drive away from the University where Namjoon worked, which was convenient.
Ten was thrilled when Namjoon told him, his head full of thoughts regarding all the stuff he would learn and the friends he would make. The younger twin had decided to tag along with Seokjin to buy their school supplies and that left Namjoon with their eldest.
"Why don't you wanna go, Taeyong?" Namjoon asked curiously.
"Because! The kids back at the foster home kept saying that schools are full of mean people and you can't do anything fun when you're there!" Taeyong reasoned, pretending not to hear Namjoon's sigh as he ran his hand through his hair.
"Baby, that's not true. Yes there can be some mean people but I guarantee you that you'll be doing lots of fun things in school!" Namjoon chirped and saw Taeyong narrow his eyes skeptically.
"Like what fun things?"
"Well, it depends on what your teacher plans for the day, buddy. But, you'll probably do something like painting, story time, show and share, and a whole bunch of other things!" Namjoon replied and smiled at Taeyong, who was deep in thought.
"I guess school doesn't sound that bad..." Taeyong muttered as he began to sway his feet absentmindedly.
"It won't be like what the other kids told you, Taeyong. You'll see."

"Daddy, I'm nervous..." Taeyong murmured and hid behind Namjoon's legs, burying his face into the professor's pants and hugging his leg tightly.
"Don't be nervous, buddy. Daddy and Appa are right here beside you," Seokjin assured as the family stepped inside the school and were welcomed by the chattering of parents and students. The couple waved when they saw Yoongi and Hoseok, who were being led around by an excited Baekhyun and Chanyeol.
"Taeyong! Look! It's Baekhyunnie and Chanyeolie!" Ten exclaimed and went to greet the older boys, but was stopped by Namjoon grabbing a hold of his backpack.
"Settle down there, Ten. We'll talk to your teacher first and then you can go talk to Chanyeol and Baekhyun," Namjoon reminded and gave Ten a warning look when the latter almost took off again.
Walking down a long hallway filled with students and their parents, Seokjin and Namjoon guided their sons into a large class room.
The room was painted a welcoming shade of light blue and pictures of colorful bees and flowers decorated the walls. A large bookshelf and five beanbags had been tucked into a corner and little hooks for their backpacks lined an empty space. Small, round tables had been arranged around the middle of the classroom and Ten clapped in excitement.
A large, red and yellow carpet sat at the back of the room while buckets of toys lined some empty shelves of nearby book cases.
"Daddy! Appa look! It's a fish tank!" Taeyong exclaimed excitedly and called out to Ten before going up to the tank and staring at the three goldfish in wonder.
"You must be the Kims!"
Turning around, Seokjin and Namjoon were greeted to the sight of Kim Taehyung, the twins' teacher.
