Chapter 5

Tyler POV
I woke up the next morning & remembered that I never told my mom about my job I need to call her I grabbed my phone unlocking it going to the contacts scrolling to her name I got up & walked out the room not wanting to wake up Dre he's still sleep he's off for the next four days since he's been working plenty of overtime ever since we moved here so his boss gave him two more days off with pto (Paid Time Off)

I clicked her name then put the phone to my ear hearing it ring she answered after the 5th ring "Hello" she sung into the phone sounding so happy & bright

"Hey mommy" I said Sitting on the couch

"Hey baby how are you I was thinking that you forgot about your poor old mother" she said laughing

I laughed a little "No mommy I've been busy I'm sorry I haven't called you but I'm actually calling you to tell you my big news"

"The news about your job at this fashion clothing business" she said & I can hear the smile on her face

I gasped "Well how did you find out so quick"

She giggled "Boy my son in law keeps me updated he told me about it you just been busy at work ever since you started so I waited until you called so that you can tell me but anyway me & Kyle wanna congratulate you on your new job honey mommy is so proud of you baby"

I smiled "Thank you mommy wish daddy was here to see how much I've grown" I said as I feel a tear come down my face him & mom we're the only two who really encouraged & pushed me to do bigger & better they are the ones who actually motivated me into making clothes doing designs I came out with my own style in 6th grade

"Don't worry baby he's always looking down on you I'm pretty sure he's up there right now smiling so proud of his lil man he's your guardian angel just because daddy isn't here doesn't mean you don't have me Kyle Dre Connor & Jarvis your family is here to support you & push you ok honey" she said & I can hear her sniffing I knew she was crying

"Thank you mommy I know you guys are gonna support through it all" I said then turned around when I felt arms wrap around my waist I smiled up at Dre he must of noticed I wasn't there & woke up to see where I was he does that when I'm not in the bed with him

"Do you have to work today honey" she asked

"Yes In 4 hours" I told her

"Ok great well I'm cooking a big dinner tonight & I want all you guys to come over" she said

"Sounds great to me we'll be there see you later when I get off mommy love you" I said as we both made kissing noises then hung up

I turned around looking up to a sleepy face Dre "What Moma Sandra wanted" he asked yawning

"Well I was calling her to tell her about my job but found out you already did then she told me that she was cooking a big dinner & wanted us all over when I get off" I said yawning feeling the sleep kicking back in

He nod his head "Sounds good to me now come lay back down with me you know I can't sleep well without you in my arms" I nod & we walked back to the room climbed in bed & fell back to sleep

I woke up 2 & half hours later went into the bathroom & took a shower after I was done I got out & did the rest of my hygiene after I was done I went back into the room walked in the closet & picked out another of my favorite casual outfits put it on then walked into the kitchen I didn't feel like making cooking breakfast so I grabbed a bagel & cream cheese out the fridge I grabbed the orange juice out the fridge as well & poured me some in a cup
