After a long, long day of packing and saying our goodbyes to all our friends and family we finaly got on the road. Not thinking of what was comming, a great adventure.
I was happy, but sad. The only thing i could think about at the very moment that we drove away was that i couldn't leve them behind. My friends, my family. What would they do without us there. Would they be okay? And Above that, would my best friend still be my best friend when i come back?
After a long dat we finaly reached our new 'home'. I was exhausted.
Even dough i wassn't the only one who was so tired they could fall on the ground and fall asleep right away. We still decided to take a walk through the jard, just to incorporate the fact that life would change from this very moment. With all that information we got up to one of the bedrooms and planted ourselfs on the bed. Falling to a sleep i hoped would never end.

The first day of school.....
Ofcourse i knew that this day would come, but i didn't want it too. I was scared.
Hand in hand with my youngest nephew i walked through the doors of 'school'. Our parents just behind us. Terrified but still curious.
After a few days of comming in and out of that school without talking and with my eyes filled with worries i started to realise it wassn't that bad. It was a small school with just a few students, I just was in class 3 and my nephew in class 4. They were mostly all so nice to me, also my teachers were nice.
After a while I started to settle in. My room at home was compfy and even though I didn't spoke a word french, I maneged to get some friends.
Too bad that there always would be those people who didn't try to understand your position in life. Some days were perfect, some days were sad, some days were lonley. Just because I was the weid dutch girl who didn't spoke French very well. Some days were hard. And I wished I could go home.
