Date Night(mare)

Bored

As I sit on my phone I scroll through the app store bored looking for a new game I swipe through my recommended Temple Run boring Flow boring Angry Birds to generic Tinder, huh it could be fun I guess *tap* install the welcome page showed the normal happy couple I sign up I put a few pictures a bio and my age in then spend a half hour swiping guys before going to sleep

Waking up to about a million notifications holy sh*t people I'm not that pretty then spend like 20 minutes looking through the people that "liked" me he's too old too young why is this person even on here swipe swipe swipe then a guy caught my eye an artist that was 26 had beautiful green eyes and chocolate brown hair *tap* instant message

"Hi gorgeous" um ok I said aloud

"Hi" I responded

"So you're a wrestler?" he asked me

"Yea its fun beating up people and getting paid to do it" I joked

"Oh god don't kill me" that actually got me to laugh a little

"I won't unless you deserve it" I responded but instantly regretted if there's one thing I have learned about guys is they take EVERYTHING wrong from me liking bananas to my love of video games

"Remind me not to steal your video games"

"That's right" I laughed at this

"So wanna go out for coffee sometime?" I hesitated thoroughly thinking through meeting him he seemed cool it wouldn't

hurt to meet him at a coffee shop

"Sure where"

"Uh The Caffeine Addict?" a popular coffee shop downtown

"Ok when?"

"Does 2:30 today sound good?" right after my gym time I would definitely be thirsty

"Ok see you then"

"Okay"

I put my phone down to get ready for the gym take a shower and out I was when I walked in to scan my card walking in right behind me was my coach and best friend he greeted me

"Hi, shorty how u doing today?" I laughed ugh why does he have to be so adorably annoying

"I'm not that short but good I have a date right after this" he looked shocked which I can relate to I never went on dates

"Wow someone is seeing something other then her Xbox" I laughed playfully hitting him in the arm

"So where this so-called date of your meeting you?"

"The Caffeine Addict downtown"

"funny I'm gonna head there right after the gym too I'm getting myself some hot chocolate" he winked at me

"I'm probably gonna sit there for a bit too just to relax with a book" he added this relaxed me a lot I didn't really like meeting strangers but if there was anyone that would stick up for me it was Phil I had had a crush on him since I first met him but he was dating another girl so I kept quiet we laughed and talked throughout our workouts until it was 2:00 we both packed up and headed to the coffee shop I texted Zach to let him know I was there and opened a game while I waited in line in front of Phil who was also on his phone when I got to the front of the line I ordered my favorite coffee with extra whipped cream walking to my table Phil laughed calling me by another one of his nicknames for me
