We've known each other for so long,
Yet you haven't, sang that song,
The one that involves you and me,
Oh, you know what I mean.
Give me a hint, give me a sign,
Tell me it's not worthless,
One day you'll be mine,
However you stay quiet,
You stay unaware,
So I start to wonder,
Do you really care.
All hope is lost, now I am alone,
Once again my heart is torn,
I believed in you and you let me down,
Now I think it's time to turn that around.
From now on I'll lead,
If you care you shall plead,
Beg and beg I'll have no mercy,
Cause what you did will always haunt me.
The scar is seen from miles beneath,
From when my soul was under your feet,
You controlled me but you'll never see,
You broke me but you'll never believe,
That someone like me could ever want,
Someone like thee.
